Hey misssopya the story got deleted in my drafts so I have to do it all over again, sorry if it took so long

Sophia's pov

"Sophia!" You turned your head only to meet your bestfriend's lovely smile and gorgeous eyes, he was there waving at you in a great distance while you left yourself staring at his form, he took this chance to run to you and have a talk

"Are you going home already?" He asked smiling at you

"Yep, how about you?"

"Erhmm actually not yet, care to join me in a nearby cafe around here?" He said linking his arms around yours

It did made your heart skip a beat, your bestfriend, Kim Taehyung which you obviously fell in love with over time is asking you out, well not technically but you get the point

"Y-Yeah sure"

"Well then let's go" he said as the both of you started to walk towards his desired place

upon entering, the strong aroma of coffee lingered through your nose as he escorted you to his desired spot in the cafe

"What do you want?" He asked looking at you as you sit down

"I'll have what you'll have" you said as he left to order

As he got back from the cashier, the both of you shared your stories with each other, letting the momentum sink in, he also managed to open up his problems to you making you feel special in a way knowing that you're the only one who knows these things about him

"Thank you for lending me your ears, it's nice having someone to talk to and listen to you" he said sweetly smiling at you

"No problem, I'm always here"

Your attention was caught when a group of boys entered the cafe, they all exchanged looks before looking at you, shrugging the thought off, you got back with talking to Taehyung, while in the middle of your conversation, that group of boys passed by your table

"Hey darling, wanna go for a ride?" He asked letting his keys dangle freely from his fingers

"No I don-"

"Can't you see she's busy?" He answered for you, you took this chance to look at him and examine his expressions as well

Is he jealous?

"Woah geez, I was just asking" the man answered before looking at you mouthing "call me" before giving you a piece of paper which you absentmindedly took and left the cafe

"What was that all about?" You asked chuckling

"Yah give me that" he said snatching that small piece of paper in your hold before tearing it into pieces

"You should stop wearing our uniform" he said pouting at you

"How can I?" You asked chuckling

"Well uhm maybe you can buy another skirt which is much longer than what you usually wear" he demanded making you just nod your head

He is indeed jealous, but why would he?

This continued for a week or two, everytime you got out from school he is already there at the gate waving at you, waiting for you to walk with him in that certain cafe making you realize something, all of those deep conversations, laughters, sweet gestures, jealous acts, late night talks and hangouts somehow gave you a very understandable conclusion

Is he perhaps inlove with you?

You guess he does, you gathered all of those possible subtle hints of his feelings towards you that he might be bottling up just because it might ruin your friendship as seen in those cliche romantic scenes

you already distanced yourself from any other boys letting him know that you're not taken and will only be his, you tried to give him subtle hints about your affection towards him letting him believe that you might actually have the same feelings as him but then it came to the point where you're already tired of this "guess my feelings game", you already want to talk to him and set things up

Today, you're gonna confess

"Hey sophia!" You looked infront of you only to see his waving form again, he ran towards you as the both of you decided to talk

"I have something to tell you" the both of you spoke in the same time

Your heart skipped a beat, assuming that he will also say the same thing that has been going on in your mind

I like you more than friends

"You first" he said

"No you first" you said excitingly

"Let's do it in the same time, agree?"

"Agree."

"1..."

"2..."

"3!"

"I like you!" "I already have a girlfriend!"

Silence erupted the both of you, you were very embarrassed and hurt at the same time

"You...like me?" He asked

"You....already have a girlfriend..." you spoke as you let your head down

"Hey sophia I'm sorry" he calmingly said

"All this time, all of those sweet gestures, deep conversations, secrets, laughters, late night talks and subtle hints, it was all fake?" He only looked at you

"Are you toying with me taehyung? Do you like playing with my feelings?!" You said

"I never told you to fall in love with me did I?"

"But how can't I huh?! If you're going to keep my hopes up like that"

"Well then it's not my goddamn fault sophia! You're the one who is at fault, I didn't give you any subtle hints that I have a special thing for you, it's you who put meaning into it, I only see you as a my friend and that's enough, not just because I want to be with you everyday, talk to you, be sweet to you that doesn't mean I love you nor I like you, it can just be because of your great personality and as my friend, you're the one who let your hopes up, you're the one who made you hurt like this, if you didn't assume too much then it wouldn't be like this so don't put the blame on me, I only see you as a friend, nothing else"

His words hit you like a truck, he's right, you never thought it was you who kept giving meanings over his friendly gestures, but who can blame you, you just let your heart lead the way leaving your brain behind

"Fine then, I'll leave, talk to me when you're mature enough"

I'm matured, it's just that I chose to be dumb and stupid because of you
