JAEDEN
I couldn't help but smile as I thought about the curly haired boy with the perfect dimpled smile. The car ride was peaceful as I watched the twinkling streetlights. I felt drowsy, and soon enough I fell asleep.
"Come on, little brother. We're home" Noah said as he picked me up and carried me inside.
We must've been driving for about an hour but it felt like seconds after I fell asleep. We were already home, and Noah placed me in my bed.
"Goodnight, buddy" he whispered, and I fell asleep again.
--
I woke up to the smell of coffee and the faint sound of voices, but more than usual this time. I yawned groggily as I stretched and rubbed my eyes. I slowly got up and ran a hand through my hair as I walked to my mirror. I was still in the clothes I wore yesterday: white t-shirt, gray pullover, and black skinny jeans. I guess I was too tired to change.
I yawned again and made my way to the kitchen.
"Is Jaeden still sleeping?" a familiar voice asked.
Jenn?
"Yeah, he was pretty tired last night from yesterday. All the shopping" I heard Mom laugh.
"Aww, poor boy"
I walked in then to find Millie and Noah cooking breakfast while Mom sat and drank coffee with Jenn. Then I saw Wyatt leaning against the wall, hands in his pockets, looking distracted. He looks so handsome, his clothes complementing his perfect face and body so well.
He's wearing black skinny jeans torn at the knee with a navy blue collard shirt, unbuttoned to expose his white T-Shirt. His eyes shifted to mine once Mom noticed me.
"There's my darling boy! Good morning, sweetheart" Mom exclaimed, and kissed my forehead as I walked over to her.
"Hey, Mom. What's going on?" I asked curiously.
"Well, Jenn and Wyatt stopped by to say hello. And, get this, it turns out they're neighbors of Noah and Millie!"
"Wait, seriously?" I glanced at Noah.
"Don't look at me, I hadn't even known!" he chuckled defensively.
"I guess that's my fault" Jenn explained. "I move around a lot for photography, so Wyatt and I have only been living next door for about a month. I'm sorry, I should've mentioned this yesterday"
"No need for apologies, we're glad you're here" Mom said, and Jenn smiled.
I smirked and walked over to Wyatt as Mom and Jenn continued to talk.
"Hey, Jaeden" Wyatt greeted quietly.
"Hey, Wyatt. What's up?"
"Wanna get out of here? I'm sure you don't wanna sit here and listen to our moms gossip for three years" he laughed.
"Sure" I chuckled. "What did you have in mind?"
