As soon as we got home, the four of us charged our way into the house. The joy we felt could hardly be contained, and Mom and Millie couldn't stop smiling.

Mom had bought a bunch of snacks and drinks and even a cake and pizzas for all of us to celebrate.

The only thing missing was Noah, but I tried not to think about that. Today was a huge win, and he wouldn't want me to he sad. He'd want me to celebrate.

I smiled as Jack devoured a slice of cake in less than a second.

"Jesus, Jack, how'd you do that?" I questioned him.

"I've had a lot of practice swallowing" he winked.

Finn choked.

"Ohh-kay, that's enough sugar, Jack" Finn said, and gently took the cake away from him.

Just before Jack could protest, we heard a loud cry come from the living room. Wyatt and I shared a glance before sprinting into the living room.

It was Millie.

Mom was holding her and crying and Millie sobbed gently into her shoulder. Her cell phone was turned on and was resting on the floor next to them.

"Mom...what is it?" I asked tentatively.

Wyatt squeezed my hand.

"It's Noah" she said.

My heart stopped.

"Is he..."

Wyatt squeezed harder.

"He's okay" she croaked. "His treatment...it's working. He's getting better"

I could hear Wyatt's sigh of relief next to me but he still squeezed my hand and refused to let go.

I couldn't speak.

I could barely breathe.

Noah was alive.

Noah was okay.

He was going to live.

My brother was going to beat cancer.

"Oh my God...oh my God, Mom" was all I could let out.

She opened her arms to me and I fell in them. She was warm and happy and her tears spilled onto my shoulder.

"He's getting better" she cried. "He's gonna make it"

"Of course he is, mom" I smiled.

Millie joined our hug, unable to contain her tears of joy either. The night couldn't get any better. We won, I get to be with the love of my life and Noah is getting better. The only downside is that tonight is Jack and Finn's last night with us in Los Angeles.
