I realized that Lothorien is actually Lothlorien. It will be Lothlorien from now on. I might accidentally write Lothorien. If you notice please let me know. Thank you.

A cold blue light was coming from Frodo's sword.
"Orcs!" Legolas yelled.
"Get back stay close to Gandalf!" Aragorn ordered the four hobbits. He and Boromir slammed and wedged the doors.
"They have a cave troll!" Boromir announced.
"Let them come! There is one dwarf yet in Moria who still draws breath!" Gimli yelled.

The door flew open in a shower of wood fragments. Around twenty orcs ran into the chamber where you stood. They were followed by a huge cave troll.

You fought bravely. You killed two orcs swiftly. An orc came up behind you and held you against a pillar.
"A woman? Here? Fighting?" The orc hissed.
"Why does everyone say that?" You cut off his head in a quick clean swipe.

You saw Legolas shooting arrows at orcs trying to shield the hobbits. You decided to help him. You killed orc after orc. You and Legolas were separated from the hobbits.
"Aragorn! Aragorn!" You heard Frodo cry.
"Frodo!" Aragorn yelled.

After all the orcs were killed and the mountain troll defeated, you ran to Frodo.
"He's alive!" Sam exclaimed.
"I'm alright. I'm not hurt." Frodo said.
"You should be dead. That spear would've skewered a wild boar." Aragorn remarked.
"I think there's more to this hobbit than meets the eye." Gandalf smiled. Frodo opened his shirt to reveal mithril.
"Mithril! You are full of surprises, Master Baggins." Gimli smiled. You heard more beating of drums drawing near.
"To the bridge of Kazad-dum!" Gandalf ordered.

You hurried towards a distant door. Orcs were climbing down the pillars like cockroaches. If you were to be surrounded there would be no way to survive. Suddenly a deafening roar filled the air. A fiery light danced down the hallway. The orcs froze, and backed fearfully away. Melting into the darkness.
"What is this new devilry?" Boromir sighed.
"A Balrog... a demon of the ancient world! This foe is beyond any of you," Gandalf turned around. "Run! Quickly!"

The Balrog, a massive creature rose from the chasm, a great forty foot man-beast, with a mane of flames. In one hand is a blade, like a stabbing tongue of fire; in the other, a whip of many thongs.
"Lead them on, Aragorn. The bridge is near." Gandalf ordered. You turned around.
"Do as I say! Swords are no use here!"
"Aragorn! Let's go!" You said tears in your eyes. You knew what was going to happen, and by the look on Aragorn's face, you knew he knew as well.

You ran down the stairs that lead to the bridge. In the middle there was a gap. Legolas jumped over it. You followed. You slipped when you reached the other side. Legolas reached out and grabbed your hand pulling you to safety.
"Thank you." You whispered gasping for breath.
"I couldn't let you fall could I?" He smiled.

Boromir tossed Merry and Pippin. You and Legolas caught them and put them down behind you. Boromir threw Sam over and Legolas caught him. Boromir jumped over. Aragorn went to toss Gimli, but Gimli swatted his hand away.
"No one tosses a dwarf!" Aragorn tossed Gimli anyway. Aragorn picked up Frodo and jumped over the gap.

The Balrog smashed through the wall and spread its vast wings. It swooped down past you into a flaming pit.

You ran into a hall. The floor was split with fissures that spat flames.
"Over the bridge! Fly!" Gandalf yelled.

You raced to the bridge. You were near halfway across when you heard Gandalf yell.
"You cannot pass!" Frodo turned around.
"Gandalf!" He cried.
"I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the flame of Anor. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Undun!" You watched as the Balrog put one foot on the bridge and draw up to its full hight, wings spread from wall-to-wall.
"Go back to the shadow!" Gandalf yelled. The Balrog slashed at Gandalf with its sword of fire. Gandalf blocked the blade causing the Balrog's sword to shatter.
"You shall not pass!" Gandalf boomed. The Balrog takes a step on the bridge. Aragorn and Boromir ran forward, swords drawn.
Gandalf thumped the bridge with his staff. A blinding sheet of white flames shot up. The staff shattered. The bridge fell away under the Balrog's feet. The Balrog fell.

You felt a huge wave of relief. You had known Gandalf longer than the rest of the Fellowship. He and Lady Galadriel were good friends, so he would visit Lothorien often. You didn't know if you would be able to handle Gandalf dying.

Gandalf watched the Balrog fall. It happened in a split second. The Balrog lashed out his whip of fire. It wrapped around Gandalf's foot and the Balrog pulled Gandalf down with it.

"Fly, you fools!" Gandalf said before falling. You heard a faint screaming. You stood there staring at the place where Gandalf was standing just moments ago.

You felt someone's hand on your shoulder.
"(Y/n)... we need to go."
"Legolas?" You recognized his voice.
"The orcs have found us." When you didn't move he grabbed your hand and gently pulled you after the others, protecting you the whole way out of Moria.

You tumbled out of the Eastern Gate. Sam, Merry and Pippin fell to the ground. Legolas let go of your hand and hugged you tight.
"It will be okay..." he whispered. You started crying.

"Legolas, get them up." Aragorn said urgently.
"Give her... um... I mean them a moment for pity's sake."  Boromir said glaring at Legolas.
"By nightfall these hills will be swarming with Orcs! We must reach the words of Lothlorien. Come, Boromir, Legolas, Gimli, get them up. On your feet Sam." Aragorn said.

Legolas put his arm on your shoulder.
"We must go." He said. You nodded. He smiled and started walking ahead, of he would have, but you grabbed his wrist.
"Stay..." you whispered. He blushed slightly and walked next to you.
