"How much of the lab was destroyed?"
Degra sighed. "Nearly all of it. Three of my researchers were killed."
"And what of your work, Degra?" the Reptilian asked.
"I haven't been able to assess how much data was lost. This will obviously delay us."
"How long?"
The Xindi calculated in his head. "Months perhaps. I'm not certain."
The insectoid got angry. "The humans have been through our space!"
"They attacked a trellium mine. We cannot wait any longer."
"Think what you're asking me to do. Build a weapon to destroy an entire world. Do you understand how difficult, how dangerous this project is?"
The reptile narrowed his eyes. "Are you saying you're not up to the task?"
The turtle shook his head. "Dissension will solve nothing. We knew there could be setbacks."
Arboreal nodded. "I agree. We are too far along to change our plan."
"Besides, we have no alternative."
"You know that isn't true." the golden armored alien interjected.
The humanoid shook his head. "That option has been discussed and rejected."
"Not by all of us."
"Perhaps it is time to reconsider our colleagues' proposal." the reptile stated.
"We do not have enough information about the humans!"
The reptilian smirked. "That can be remedied."
"It's too dangerous." the aquatic told.
"I agree. Degra deserves more time." Arboreal said.
"But if we do not see some progress soon, we'll have no choice but to consider all our options." the turtle said, and left.

"How did the baby react?" Archer asked, lying on the bio bed.
"The virus wasn't far enough in your bloodstream to infect the child." the Denobulan replied. "Have you been scratching again?"
"I've tried not to." the Captain replied.
"I only see faded marks. Don't let me catch you scratching them!" Phlox said. "Velekh, do you have the baby's genetic profile?"
The second doctor moved the curtain aside. "The monitor is busy, it should be ready in twenty point nine five three seconds." and the curtain was moved back in its former position.
"Would you like to know the baby's gender already?" the bright-blue eyed doctor asked.
"Yes, please." Jon replied. "Doctor, were you this anxious when one of your wives was pregnant? Any idea how Soval must feel right now?"
The Denobulan smiled widely. "I can remember Banda being quite anxious. First pregnancies are quite a source of worry. I myself wasn't too much anxious, I had already become a father twice. Since it's also Soval's first child, I can imagine he'd be quite anxious as well for so far Vulcans can get anxious."
The white curtain was shoved aside, Velekh came to them with a PADD in his left hand.
"That's the profile?" Archer asked.
