"I quite admire that you easily give up your quarters for Ambassador V'Lar." T'Pol said while Velekh was packing his few belongings in a Starfleet issued bag.
"It was me or Ensign Sato, and I highly respect women of such a standard as Lady V'Lar. It would be logical for me to give up my quarters to give her some comfort. Tucker told me I can room with him and Reed, so I will not have to sleep in engineering. I would not have minded if it was the only solution." the part-Romulan said as he closed off his bag with the zipper. "I guess I should also take that lirpa with me."
"I don't believe V'Lar would mind an object from her own home world, you can leave it here." the science officer said.
The second Doctor nodded. "I will not expect you to dine in the mess hall tonight, as you most likely will spend it with the Ambassador and the Captain."
"I will try to meet with you." it was a promise.
"I look forward to it." Velekh said and nodded before leaving the room.
T'Pol stayed behind and took a sniff, smelling the presence of a highly virile male Vulcan of a young age. She liked Velekh's far better than Koss's for some reason.

"V'Lar has been expelled for abuse of her position and criminal misconduct."
Hvaid rose his eyebrow when he heard that. He couldn't show the world around him that he knew something more about this matter. It might come in handy later, to prepare the ship for extensive battle against the Mezarite forces, but not now.

"I hope you like your quarters, Ambassador." Archer said as he sat at dinner with Trip, T'Pol and the Ambassador herself. "T'Pol tried very hard to anticipate your needs."
"Fortunate, my needs are few Captain. I am however curious who previously occupied the cabin, I did see an ancient Vulcan weapon hanging on the wall." V'Lar said after she had swallowed her bit of food. "I was hoping to meet the crewmember who allowed me to disrupt his routine. I prefer not to inconvenience anyone if possible, a philosophy which has served me well in the diplomatic service."
The Captain placed his half-empty glass down on the table. "I heard from T'Pol that you were one of the first to negotiate the borders between Vulcan and Andor."
The Ambassador nodded with her head. "The Andorians required a somewhat firmer hand at the negotiating table, I was younger then. It was even before we made contact with Earth."
"That was over ninety years ago, how long have you been a diplomat?" Trip asked.
V'Lar placed down her glass. "Commander Tucker, I understood that it was bad manners on your world to ask a Lady her age." her tone was quite flat, with only a hint of amusement underneath.
This statement got the engineer stammering like an incomprehensible idiot.
"I apologize, Commander. Blame my attempt at humor." the older Vulcan woman said.
That got the Chief laughing again.
"But I can assure you, that you are dining with two of the oldest people aboard this ship."
There fell a silence, before T'Pol spoke: "I hope, Ambassador, that you're taking the charges against you with less levity."
Again, there was a pause. V'Lar was looking at T'Pol before answering: "Of course I do."
"How do you intend to defend yourself?" the younger Vulcan woman spoke before she sipped her glass of water.
"There is no defense." the Ambassador said.
