During his time in the past, Hvaid saw the growth of Earth with his own eyes. History books were nothing compared to experiencing it all in real life.

It had helped him realize is own potential as a warrior, a diplomat and a magician. He was capable of creating big illusions to distract Klingons and augments, of taking control over a ship and of taking command at the right time.

After the encounter with extremely xenophobic humans on a colony, the negotiations with ambassadors from multiple planets to form an alliance had continued. Captain Archer had given a grandiose speech that had impressed many, and it had also forced Soval to smile.

The human male had been promoted to Admiral, the Charter had been signed and the beginning of the Federation was now formed.

Right now, the former First Officer of the ESS Enterprise stood before the window of his apartment in the Vulcan Embassy which he shared with his wife and two children. Recently, T'Pol had given birth to their daughter Iria and their daughter Kin'Shara had been born two years previously, quite quick after the Kir'Shara had been returned to the people of Vulcan.

"Hvaid, your thoughts are loud." T'Pol said from the doorway.

"I am contemplating if I should go back to my own time." the half-Romulan said, casting his eyes up to the sky. "I am missing my own life."

"You could have gone back with your former fiancée, but you didn't." the Vulcan woman said.

"That was because I felt that my mission here wasn't done yet, but now it feels time to go back. The United Federation is formed, Sarek of Vulcan is born, everything is in place. Do you wish to come with me?" the magician asked.

"I'm your bondmate, I go wherever you go."

"Take our daughters from their beds, I'll prepare our depart."

Hvaid sent his message to Archer and the Vulcan register, they had the right to know. He didn't wait for their replies and shut everything down as his wife came back with their children.

Odette was restless, the part-Andorian girl put up her big black eyes.

"Nothing is wrong, Odette. No fear is necessary." the half-Romulan said, taking his oldest daughter's hand to calm her.

"How are we transporting?" T'Pol asked.

"Hold onto me, tightly."

The Vulcan woman did so, wrapping her right arm tightly around her husband's left. She was holding Iria. Odette held onto her father's hand and Kin'Shara was holding her father's robes.

The purple stone plastered to the thick skull of the part-Magiran began shining its bright lavender color and the eyes also illuminated in that same color.

Three point six eight one seconds later, the family disappeared in an explosion of light.

"My lord, we're receiving a transmission from the south-east part of the continent. Your son Hvaid has teleported there."

Shanak looked up from his paperwork as soon as he heard the name of his oldest son. He'd been extremely worried after both is and Lanna's disappearance from K7. "Is he alright?"

"He's perfectly fine, sir. The thing is... he's got a woman and three children with him." the Magiran intelligence officer said.

"Get them to the castle as quick as possible."

The transport had been the most comfortable he'd ever rode in, since it flew in a straight line over the forest towards the capital city.
