As I approached her house, I felt my hands start shaking. Stop thinking like this Tyler, it will be fine, YOU will be fine. She likes you, it will be alright. It's not going to be weird and it will probably work out....

"Unless it doesn't." My thoughts were cut off by the threatening deep voice that sucks the life out of me anytime I hear it.

"Blurry, not now. I'll be fine!"

"No you won't. She doesn't like you. She just feels sorry for you."

"That's not true."

"She probably just likes Josh."

"Then why did she say yes to me?" My breath started shaking.

"She probably thought that if she said no, you would cut yourself again, or jump off a bridge." He sounded like he preferred the second option.

"That's not true." My breaths were uneven.

"Yes it is, think about it. I mean really, REALLY think about it." He sounded calm yet so terrifying.

"Won't you go to someone else's head." My whole body was shaking and I felt like I couldn't breath, like I was being strangled. I quickly pulled over and tried to calm down. I started hyperventilating and the strangling sensation got stronger. I started clawing at my throat, trying to get whatever was trying to kill me off. I struggled for about five more minutes until my body has such a lack of air that I passed out.

When I woke up I jumped a little. My breathing had calmed and I actually felt a little better. I looked at my phone and saw that it was 6:30.

"Crap." I whispered under my breath and started to pull off the side of the road, luckily I was only about five minutes away. I picked up my phone and selected Jenna's number then put my phone to my ear.

"Hey Tyler." She seemed very happy.

"Hey Jen." A smile immediately appeared on my face. "I wanted you to know that I'm about five minutes away."

"Okay, I'm ready so I'll be waiting for you."

"Alright. Goodbye."

"Bye." She hung up the phone.

Once I arrived at her house I walked up to her door with the flowers and chocolates, I took a deep breath, then knocked in the door.

"Hello!" She opened the door.

"Hi Jen. These are for you." I smiled and handed her the gifts.

"Aww thanks, Ty." She smiled and looked up at me. Her face quickly went from happy to concerned.

"What's wrong?"

"What happened to your neck?" She asked as she put her hand in my chin and tilted my head back and to the side a little.

"Oh, it's nothing, don't worry about it."

"Ty, you're bleeding, come here." She took my hand and led me into her house and to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror while she got the stuff to clean up the small scratches that covered my neck. Dang, Blurry got me good this time. It's happened once before, but not this badly.

"Here." She took the wet cloth and gently dabbed the injuries.

"Thanks." I smiled.

After about ten minutes we headed out.

"So, where are we going?" She giddily asked.

"It's a surprise."

"Awww come on, tell me."
