It's December 30 today, Josh, Jenna, and I are hanging out at Jenna's apartment, the one next door to Josh's went up for rent, so she decided to rent it. Josh, Jenna, and I spent most of the summer hanging out at each others houses. I've been doing fine, I still cut every now and then, I'm a lot better then I was though. I still don't eat, I just don't see the point. Jenna and I went on more dates, we've only been together for a little more than a year, but I know she's the one. My dime piece girl, hopefully forever. I gave her a promise ring for our one year anniversary, she gladly accepted. Josh and I continued to write music, we've even preformed many, many times for a bunch of different people. We finally have a name for the band too, Twenty One Pilots. I want to put a slash through the O, but Josh isn't completely on board with that yet."I just think it's too much work! It's just a slash Tyler! Why does it mean so much to you?" Josh and I carried on the same argument that we've had most of the year.
"Because Joshua, it's symbolic! It sets us apart!"
"I thought the ski masks and the way we preformed did that enough!"
"Pleeeeeeaaasseee."
"Fine." He crosses his arms.
"Thanks, sweetie." I smiled at him.
"Whatever." He laughed.
"You boys are too much." Jenna sat down next to me.
"You're just jealous." I winked.
"Am not." She blushed.
"Sure." I rolled my eyes and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Jenna's promise ring caught my eye, I'm so glad to have her. I grab her hand and kissed it, continuing to stare at the ring. I thought for awhile, what if she changes her mind, what if she decided to go for someone else. I guess my facial changed because soon Jenna spoke up.
"I still promise." She smiled at me.
"Good." I smiled a little. "So do I."
"Awwww." Josh joined the room of smiles. He finally stopped saying ew to us when we do stuff like this and has started saying aw.
"So, what do you guys want to do?" I laid back into the couch.
"I don't care." Jenna looked at Josh.
"Oh I know." I smiled at them.
"What?" Jenna asked.
"Let's go get ice cream."
"Yes!" Josh jumped up.
"Tyler, it's 11:00 at night." Jenna laughed.
"Soooo?"
"Okay." She sighed, smiling big.
"Yay!" I helped her up and we slipped on our shoes, grabbed our things, and got in my car. Jenna and I sat up front and Josh sat in the back. We listened to a band called Panic! At the Disco. They were pretty good too,
"Well isn't this exactly where you want me, I'm exactly where you want me you know!" We all sang along. We finally arrived at Dairy Queen and got out of the car. All three of us got a salted caramel truffle blizzard. I paid for them even though Jenna and Josh didn't want me too. Then we wondered to the back of the restaurant and sat at one of the tables.
"Did you guys sign up for spring semester classes yet?" Jenna asked.
"I didn't. I'm taking this semester off, I think that I want to get serious with music." I didn't look up from my ice cream, worried about what Josh would say.
