making sure not to mention yesterday's incident of him running away, i causually took the empty seat beside him. it was hard for me to close my talkative mouth, but i had to prevent the awkwardness.
"okay class, let's lighten up the atmosphere!"
most of the students were either leaning on their hands, or laying their heads on the tables when mr old entered the class.
"how about some..." he clicked on his laptop keys several times before turning on the projector.
"okay! see if you can guess it out!" he cleared his throat.
"what did the scientist say when he stepped on a silver bar?
"au!" a student shouted in the front and the class was dead silent.
mr old let out a fake cough and continued, "alright... i promise the next will be better."
"the bartender asks what they would like to drink. the first scientist says "i'll have a glass of H2O please." the second scientist says "ill have H2O too." the second scientist dies. why?"
a silence was followed after that. "H2O2, also known as hydrogen peroxide, is poisonous."
a few giggles were heard and mr old was smiling. "in my chemistry class, there is no boredom, only fun."
"alright here's the last one. "what did the ion say to the other ion?"
i raised my hand, confidence flowing through me. i looked at jimin sitted beside me in the eye, before shooting out the answer.
"i got my ion you!"
the class clapped and some even gave a standing ovation. i stood up and bowed left and right, proud of my neverending acheivements.
i heard jimin scoff beside me and i sat down again. he came closer to me and whispered to my ear, "nice one." he smirked before going back to his original position while i sat there, stunned.
