Chapter 4 ~The Video~

My dad got home around 11am. It was a good afternoon because when my dad got home he was happy. He was a different person. When he came home he was smiling and came into the living room and hugged me and my sister and took us out to eat. This was super weird but I liked it. It's like my dad was back to normal.

"Um so dad I have to ask you if I could hang out with some friends tonight?" I asked.
"Depends. Are there gonna be boys?" He asked.
"No it'll be me and Gracie."
"So your boyfriend won't be there?" My sister asked.
"Sarah!" I said.
"Boyfriend? Since when did you have a boyfriend?" My dad asked.
"He isn't my boyfriend. Trust me dad." I said then looked at Sarah. "Colby and I are just friends."
"I don't know Brook. It's a school night so probably not sorry." My dad said.
"Okay." I said... I guess I'm gonna have to sneak out.

Colby texted me at 9:30 that he's on his way to get me. I get a backpack and put some water and flashlights in there and blankets. Luckily my dad went to bed at 9. So my sister is the only one awake. I went in her room to tell her that I'm leaving and not to tell dad. She agreed and let me out her window since its easy to sneak out of. I left a note on the fridge saying that I left early for school so my dad  wouldn't get suspicious.
I get in Colby's car and we go get Brennen.

I sat in the front with Colby, Sam and Brennen sat in the back.
"So where exactly are we going?" I asked.
"Some abandoned hospital that is haunted I guess." Colby said.
"Yeah, who's ready to stay the night at this place?" Brennan asked. "Did anyone bring blankets?"
"Yeah, I did. Colby texted me to." I said.
"Great." Sam said.
Colby started telling us more information about this place.
After about two hours we finally got there.

We had to be very quiet because apparently there is a lot of security. So we have to be sneaky. Sam handed everyone flash lights and we started to walk. "Guys if anyone sees something yell get down" Colby said. We all nodded.
We finally got there and we only had to get down 3 times.
The entrance was really small so they made me go first since I was the smallest one there. We all made it in and Colby handed me a mask.

"This place is huge." I said.
"I know, it's kinda creepy." Sam said.
We all kept walking. After exploring the first floor we went up to the 2nd. There were 4 floors plus the roof.
"So where are we gonna stay?" I asked and right after I asked that we heard a bang. "What the fuck was that?"
"Yeah seriously. Did you guys hear that?" Brennen asked.
"I think everyone heard it." Sam said.
I started walking towards where the noise came from. I'm one of those people where if I was in a horror movie I'd be the first one to die.
"Brook what are you doing?" Colby asked grabbing my hand to stop me.
"I'm going to find out what that noise was."
Colby gave me a dumb look but I still kept going.

When I got into the room there was nothing in there. All that was in there was stuff on the walls and some trash and me.
All of a sudden I heard a whisper in my ear and my flashlight went out. I screamed and the guys came running into the room. I almost started crying.
"What happened?!" Colby asked me.
"Someone whispered in my here. I swear to God I heard someone whisper in my ear. I'm not crazy." I said.
"Do you want to leave? We can go if you want." Sam said."
I checked the time and it was 3am. "No let's just get away from that room." I said and we started walking. I reached into my bag since my flashlight went out.
"Wait did your flashlight seriously go out?" Sam asked.
"Um yeah when I heard someone whisper why?" I said.
They all looked at each other. "Lets go upstairs." Colby said grabbing my hand. I smiled.

We got to the top floor when we heard a scream and Brennen said that he saw someone so we ran. I'm not very good at running so I was behind when my flashlight went out... again.
"What the fuck! Why does mine only go out?!" I yelled. Then I noticed that there weren't any lights... The boys weren't near me.
I tried my best to get into my bag but I couldn't see when all of a sudden I heard something in front of me and being my dumb self I dropped my flashlight and ran back upstairs.

-Colbys POV-
We all got outside and we were all breathing really heavy.
"What the fuck was in there?" Brennen asked.
"I don't know. Nobody lives in there." Sam said.
"Um apparently someone does." He Brennen said.
They kept on talking and talking when I noticed the Brook wasn't with us.
"Guys where the fuck is Brook?!" I yelled.
We all looked at each other... We left her in there. Oh my god.
