Chapter 13 ~Back~

The next morning I woke up to my phone ringing and when I went to answer it, it said "Colbs 💓". I answer my phone rubbing my eyes.
"Hello?" I said with my morning voice.
"Sorry to wake you up I just wanted to let you know that me and Sam and getting on the plane now." Colby said.
"Okay thanks for telling me."
"See you in a bit. Love you." He said.
"Love you too bye."
I was gonna get up and get ready to meet Colby at the airport but I fell back asleep on accident.

I woke up to a loud noise downstairs. I check the time and it said 3pm. I went to open my bedroom door but someone else opened it.
I looked up and smiled. "Oh my god!" I yelled and immediately hugged him. There stood in my room Colby Brock.
"I missed you!" I said still hugging him.
"I missed you too." He said and kissed me. I couldn't help but smile. "Um and who's that kid downstairs?" He put his stuff down.
"What?" I asked and walk downstairs with Colby behind me.
I go into the kitchen to see a guy my age. Oh my god it's probably Tyler.
"Um who are you? Where's my dad?" I asked.
"I'm Tyler and he went out with my mom."
"Well why are you here?" I asked.
"I don't want to be here but they want me to stay, something about sibling bonding." He said eating a bowl of ice cream. "Who's that dude?"
"I'm Colby."
"Boyfriend?" Tyler asked and I nodded.
After talking for a bit Colby and I went to my room.

We went in my room and cuddled and he talked about how his trip back home was. He seemed really happy that he got to see his family and I would be too if I never saw them. I'm just happy to have him back home.

~A couple days later~

I wake up in Colby's arms and saw that it was 12pm already. I look over at him and just smile. God I love him so much.
"Why are you staring at me?" He asked laughing and turning towards me.
"I was just admiring you and thinking how lucky I am to have you." I say smiling. "So you excited for tomorrow?!" I ask.
He gives me a confused look.
"Don't act dumb silly, you're turning 18! The big 1 8. My baby is growing up." I say pretending to cry and he just laughs.
"I don't want anything big, I just want to spend time with you tomorrow night then okay?"
"Alright sounds perfect"

Later that day I went back home around 8pm and saw that my dad, Jamie, Tyler, and my sister were all watching a movie in the living room. I go hang my coat up and hang up my keys and walk in the living room. "Hey guys," I say standing my the entry way.
"Oh hi hunny." My dad says pausing the movie. "Come join us, the movie just started."
"Um sure."

I sat in front of my dad on the floor. "So tomorrow is Colby's birthday so I was thinking either I stayed over there again or he stayed over here?" I ask him.
"Either is fine, as long as your safe." He said and rubbed my shoulders.

I decided to text Colby because it was 12am and it's officially his birthday.

I went to bed around 12:30 after I finished wrapping Colbys present. I got him a new camera for his videos since he was complaining that he needed a new one. I hope he likes it because god I feel so embarrassed with I get someone something and they hate it.

I wake up around 10am and  get up and get ready. I go downstairs to eat some breakfast and noticed that everyone was still here.
"Oh hi." I said sitting down eating some toast.
"Hey sweetie." Jamie said smiling.

Please don't call me that ever again omg. It's not that I don't like her or like being called that, I just don't want her calling me that, I'm not ready for someone else to be my mom but I am so happy for my dad. He finally moved on.

I smiled at her. "How's everyone's morning going?" I said.
Everyone just said good and stuff like that. This is just really awkward... then we started to have a family meeting.
