Chapter 25 ~The End~

•Brooklyn's POV•
I leave for college today so Colby is helping me pack the rest of my stuff up. It's hard packing up and leaving your childhood.

"Promise me you won't forget me. We'll make this long distance work." He said.
"As long as you don't forget me and if you miss me just visit me or call me." I said holding his hand.
"I'm gonna try to visit you as much as possible Brooklyn. I love you." He said opening my car door and him getting in beside me.

On the way to the airport I cuddle with Colby in the backseat of Jamie's car. My dad isn't saying anything, he's too upset.
"Dad, I'll make sure to call you everyday." I said rubbing his shoulder.
He nods his head and smiles.
They get out and walk me into the airport as far as they can go. I hug them all and stand in front of Colby.

"Call me every night and I will always answer, even if it's 3am." I said laughing. He wipes away my tears and kisses me.
"I will. Have fun at the college parties, but not too much fun especially without me." He said laughing. I smile at him and kiss him one last time before walking away to check in.

I get on the plane and leave for New York.

•One Year Later•

Colby and I are still together and we're still going strong. We talk to each other everyday and he visits me about once a month. Everyone else on the other hand, have gotten a little distant except Sam since he's with Colby.

•Two Years Later•

I have one year left of college and I'm outta this bitch. Colby and I are still madly in love and our parents think that we will definitely last. I still somewhat talk to Gracie but Hannah is pretty much gone. So sad.

•Three Years Later•

I graduate college today! I'm so excited I get to go back home with my dad and Jamie until I find an apartment. Yeah Jamie and my dad are married now and it makes me happy. My sister is gonna be a junior so I get to see her for two more years. I'm with Colby still and he makes me so happy. Life is so great right now.

I go to graduation and get my diploma and see Colby sitting with my dad, I smile immediately.
Once it's over I go over and jump into my arms and he spins me.
"I love you! I missed you! Oh my gosh!" I say happily. He laughs and kisses me.

"So I have a graduation gift and it's ok if you don't want it but I already talked it over with everyone and they said it's fine." He said and gives me a small box. I open it and see a key.
I give him a confused look.
"It's the key to our house. Devyn lives with us so they said that you can live with us. You'd share a room with me obviously but that's fine."
"Oh my god yes! Of course I'll move in with you!" I said and hugged him.

•One year later•

So I live with Colby now and I don't talk to Gracie or Hannah. Sam is dating a girl named Kat and we're really good friends now. I got a job as an intern at a school so I can see what it'll be like when I teach there soon. It's a lot of fun, the little kids love me already and I can't wait for two months to come.

I wake up in Colby's arms realizing that I'm home. This is my home, he is my home. My life is perfect.

I wake up in the morning and got a call that said that the job can be mine starting next week! I'm gonna be a teacher next week! I can't wait!!
I tell Colby and he said he wants to take me out for dinner so we go out to dinner.

Colby gets down on one knee at the restaurant and it gets really quiet. I cover my mouth with my hand and tear up.
"Brooklyn, I've loved you since the moment I saw you our senior year. When you showed me around the school and we talked, I knew that you were the one. I may have messed up a few times but I promise to never do that again. Will you marry me?"
"Yes." I said crying and hug him. Everyone cheers and we get a free desert.

We get home and share with everyone the news and they all congratulate us. This is a perfect life.
