Chapter 11 ~Finals Week~

I go to pick up Sarah after school like usual and go home. My dad hasn't talked to me since that call which was three days ago. I didn't know that he'd be this upset over a guy. I needed to tell him though, he needed to know the truth.
When we got home I noticed his car wasn't there so I guess he isn't home. I went inside and started my homework since I had a lot of it. Even though I had a lot of homework, my dad was great. I didn't see Jakob at all today. As long as I don't see him I'm happy.

I hear the door shut so I head downstairs to see who was here. It was most likely my dad but I need to talk to him.
I walk downstairs and my dad was putting stuff away in the kitchen.
"Hey dad." I said.
He looked over at me. "What's up honey?"
"Nothing. Just haven't talked to you in a while." I said playing with my bracelets.
"I know and I'm sorry. I just don't want you getting hurt by some dumb guy again."
"Colby isn't like that. I promise you that he isn't."
"Do you like him more than you did Jakob?"
"Way more, why?"
"Because if he hurts you, it'll hurt way more." He said and walked away.
Ouch. That got me. He's right though. Now I'm scared again. I'm scared to try to find love. I love Colby, I really do. I'm just scared now, thanks dad.

Tomorrow is Wednesday and we start finals then we have Christmas break. Colby and I have been dating for two weeks now and I've never been happier. We spend almost everyday together. We are literally inseparable. He spends times with his friends and I spend time with mine but we're usually together. We both finally told each other that we love each other. He told me first and it was the greatest feeling ever. In case your wondering, no we haven't done it yet. We decided to wait for a while and not rush to it.

I got to school and today I have classes 1, 2, 3, and 4 today. I'm gonna be a total bitch this week because this stuff stresses me out. I met up with my friends looking like shit because I was up all night studying which will happen all week.
"Shit dude, what happened to you?" Hannah asked laughing.
"It's called not getting any sleep." I said. "I seriously only slept for an hour."
"Sorry babe that sucks but you look good, don't listen to Hannah." Colby said hugging me.
"Okay gross." Sam said.
"Sam your just jealous that you don't have a girlfriend. I think they're cute." Gracie said.
Sam rolled his eyes and we all laughed.
The bell rang and I wanted to cry.

The day was finally over since we get out at 12. I almost fell asleep three times but I didn't so that's good. I think I did good on all of my tests because I need good grades for college. I still haven't figured out where I'm going to college yet.

I went home and went straight to my room to sleep. I woke up around 3:30 from my phone ringing and I noticed that I had three missed calls. Ugh I have to pick up my sister. When I went downstairs my sister walks in.
"Thanks for the ride!" Sarah said.
"I'm sorry I was sleeping." I said yawning. "Who picked you up anyway?"
"Colby. I called him because he said if I need anything to call him."
"Oh." I said.
"Okay." She said and went to the kitchen. I decided to go back in my room and text Colby to thank him.

I went to Colby's house around 8 so we could study together. Let's hope I actually go to bed tonight. I'll most likely stay here tonight so I brought clothes just incase and texted Sarah to have a friend take her to school.
After studying for an hour we took a break. My eyes were slowly closing.
"Are you tired? It's only 9:00." He said.
I nodded. "I didn't get any sleep last night."
"Do you just wanna go to bed?"
"No, I need to study."
"I think we should just go to bed." He said and started putting our stuff away.
"Nooooo." I said grabbing his arm trying to make him stop which wouldn't do anything, he's say stronger than me.
He put our stuff on the ground and shut the light off. All that's on is a lamp.
We start cuddling and he turns off the lamp.
"Goodnight baby." He said.
I smiled. "Goodnight." I said and instantly fell asleep.

I go to school tomorrow with Colby so my car is at his house.
We go over to our little hangout place where all of us hangout. We are he first ones there because we got here pretty early. After a couple minutes everyone started to show up. They were all talking while I was studying.
The bell rang and I wanted to cry because today is periods 5, 6, 7, and 8. Those are my hard classes. Well all of my classes are hard but those ones are the worst. I was so stressed. My first test was super hard and I don't think I did good on it. Let's hope the rest go good.

Schools finally over and now it's Christmas break and I don't think I did good at all today. Colby's taking us out to eat, all of our friends are gonna hangout since people are leaving for break.
Gracie is going to Canada to visit her grandparents for a week in a couple days. Hannah is just driving a couple hours to go to her dads tonight but she's only going for a while. Sam and Colby are going back to Kansas in two days and I don't know when they'll be back so it's just me here. This is gonna be such a fun break.... My family usually comes to our house since it's so big. They only stay for a couple days though. There's nobody my age, they are all younger than 14 so Sarah is closer to them. I usually just hang out with my mom but since she won't be here this Christmas, I won't know who I'll hang with. I guess I'll find out.

We all laughed and talked about everything. This is gonna suck to have everyone gone it does every year. We started talking about graduating and how close it is. It's sad to think that we won't see each other everyday any more.
"It's crazy we only have one semester left or 2 quarters. I'm not ready." I said.
"I know it's sad. I don't know what it's gonna be like without seeing you guys everyday. Seeing Brooklyn's face every morning making me laugh because she is not a morning person. This is gonna suck." Hannah said. We laughed at the face part.
"Enough about this. Let's just appreciate that we still have a semester left." Sam said and we all agreed.
