After dinner, Anna and I decided to hang out on the balcony by the fire to get to know each other.

"Where are you from?" Asked Anna as the sun was setting the fire pit had a nice warmth.

"Vancouver, Washington," I told her.

"Really? Us too." Responded Anna.

"That's crazy... when did you guys move here?" I Asked.

"Hmm... about five months ago." Said Anna.

    How have I never noticed them move that long ago?

"Ah, the California sun... better than the northwest rain," I told her as I put my hands behind my head.

"Ugh! The rain! I don't miss it a tad bit." Said Anna with a giggle.

"Actually my best friend and I used to dance in the rain together... I miss him. We separated and haven't talked ever since." I told Anna as the story got a little deep.

"I am sorry to hear that... I miss my friends too. I barely have any over here. But my family is all I really need."

"I am glad you're happy," I told her.

"Are you?" Asked Anna.

"Very," I told her with a large smile. I really was happy. Although I lied to Anna... I did find Daniel, but he didn't find me.

"Speaking of dancing in the rain, my brother, Daniel danced in the rain with his best friend all the time too. He hasn't spoken a word about her ever since." Anna stated.

"Who?" Asked Daniel as he walked through the sliding doors and joined us by the fire.

"Remember Aleea from Vancouver?" Asked Anna.

"... no." Said, Daniel. My heart sank a little.

"The one you would constantly drool over." Said Anna with a giggle. I laughed along but what does she mean about drooling over? Did... did he like me?

"Uh... OH YA!" Said, Daniel, as his eyes grew.

"Ya." Is all Anna Said back to him.

"Ya, I remember her now! Aleea Sterling... the one I had the fattest crush on. Ya... I haven't heard from her since. We just stopped talking I guess." Said, Daniel. My heart rose back up to the thought he still remembered me, but he doesn't realize that I am right here... right here in front of him.

"Where is she now?" I asked him.

"I wish I knew... maybe here in LA. I remember her telling me about how she wanted to move down here for modeling and acting. I wonder how she is doing."

"You need to find her." Said Anna.

"Like I have any luck with that! I don't have her number or know her social media accounts... she's gone. I am not going to be able to find her." Said, Daniel, as he stared into the fire. His blue eyes were lit up.

"I believe in you Daniel... you even have fans who could help you out." Said, Anna, as she tossed her phone around.

"Fans?" I Asked... obviously pretending.

"Surprised you don't know who he is." Said, Anna, as the two looked at me. I shake my head at the two.

"Well, I am Daniel Seavey and I am in a band called Why Don't We." Daniel introduced himself.

"Oh my gosh! I've heard one of your band's songs on the radio once before." I Responded.

"Well, I am one of the five of them." Said Daniel with a smile.

"That's really cool... well anyways ya, you have investigators to find this Aleea girl."

"Worth a shot." Said, Daniel, as he headed back inside and left Anna and me both outside. The sun was moments from leaving our side of the Earth.

    Suddenly Anna spoke up, "Well the search begins. Daniel tweeted a picture of Aleea and him and asked to find her."

"What's his username?" I lied.

"Seaveydaniel."

"Thanks," I Said.

"Yep."

    Once I opened my phone I got a couple tweets with me mentioned in them. Even my other close friend from Vancouver replied to Daniel with my username.

    I kept my mouth shut and throughout the rest of the night, someone would have found me and try to get Daniel to notice my username. How are these people so good at finding me in a matter of minutes.

"Anything?" Anna asked Daniel as Anna, Keri, and I were all out in the dark living room as Daniel walked in.

"Nope..." Said, Daniel, as flopped onto the couch next to me.

"What are you guys watching?" Asked Daniel.

"Beauty And The Beast." Said, Keri, as we all looked back at the TV.

"I love this movie!" Said, Daniel, as he scooted a little closer to me.

"It's my favorite," I told him while still looking at the movie, but I felt his eyes locked on me and so I gave him a quick glance with a smile and then focused back on the movie. This gave me butterflies.

    Halfway through the movie, I was falling asleep and was slowly drifting away on the long, grey couch. I was sitting between Anna and Daniel, but I guess my head was leaning towards Daniel's direction more. When Daniel noticed me drifting off to sleep he placed a blanket over me and then gently and slowly shifted my head to his shoulder. I couldn't resist but to fall asleep.

    I woke up to see the credits on the TV screen and everyone was still sitting on the couch until I realized we all fell asleep except for Keri who got up to turn off the TV and then exit the room. I was still on Daniel's shoulder and he was sound asleep and so was Anna. I decided to stay in my spot and go back to sleep on Daniel's shoulder. I guess he felt my small movements and then wrapped his arm around me as we still cuddled next to each other in the same soft and warm blanket.

    I never wanted to leave...
