It's been a long... slow... two months. I haven't said a word to Daniel and he only tried to contact me twice but when I gave him no response... he gave up. We have both been crazy busy... no time to see each other...
Actually... before we stopped talking, Daniel asked me if I was actually Aleea. I denied like the stupid person I am and he believed me. I guess he saw everyone's tweets saying that I am the Aleea he is searching for when really... I am.
Maybe he does believe them and Just agreed with me... then why is he completely ignoring me?
The other night, he surprisingly came to my door. When I saw him through the peephole at the door, I wanted to open that door and hug him but instead, I turned off my lights and walked back to my room.
I found out the next day that he left for tour. And he still is on tour at this moment, but I don't know where and I don't bother looking.
"Hey..." Said Anna which broke me away from my thoughts. I was sitting on the rooftop by a fire pit.
"Hey..." I Said looking at her as she walked over and sat in the chair next to me. I stared back at the fire.
"How've you been?" She Asked sweetly.
"Good... I guess." I Said looking down at my hands on my lap.
"Look... he's not mad. I mean... he's sorry. He's sorry that he hasn't had the time to talk to you and..." She tried to explain.
"And I feel horrible... I ignored him." I told her.
"You never intended too... it just happened. You both were busy. You know?"
"Ya... I know."
"They're in Portland... I think this is your shot." Said, Anna, before she got up and patted my shoulder before leaving.
"Portland..." I whispered to myself.
