A month passed and I haven't made any contact with Daniel and his family what so ever. I've been hanging out with Angi all the time now. I told her everything too...

I was leaning against the ledge of the roof of our apartment building. There was a pink and orange sunset in the horizon and the wind was blowing my hair off my shoulders. It was quite and peaceful... just the sound of water and wind.

Suddenly... I felt a presence of someone behind me and soon the person was leaning on the same ledge as me... probably two feet away from me. I didn't bother to look at who it was. The sunset seemed more important to me at this moment.

"How are you?" Asked... Daniel.

"Good." I Said

"You?" I Added.

"Good... just thinking." He Said. I still wasn't looking at him.

"Don't think too hard." I Said.

"I hope I am not."

"What's on your mind?" I Asked.

"You." He said.

"Me?" I laughed.

"Ya... what you told me." He Said.

"What did I say?" I Asked looking at him. I instantly made eye contact with him. His blue eyes matched the sunset perfectly.

"Well... you accused my best friend for being a fake." Said Daniel. I took a big breath...

"She's not Aleea Sterling." I Said looking back at the sunset.

"How do you know? Huh? Do you like know her?" Asked Daniel as he walked closer to me.

"Yes... I know her." I said looking down at my hands.

"And you didn't tell me?!" He Said as he rise his voice a little.

"I couldn't." I Said.

"Why not? Why not, Aleea?" Asked Daniel and my eyes watered.

"Because I am Aleea Sterling." I told him. I held in the silence.

"Kidding me right?" He Asked.

"No... I am Aleea Sterling."

"You hid your identity?" Asked Daniel.

"Yes... ever since you and your family didn't recognize me... I couldn't mention who I really was."

"You lied." Said Daniel as he lowered his voice.

"I know... it was wrong." I said.

"I... I can't believe this."

"I am sorry." I Said as I took my eyes off the sunset and looked back into Daniel's eyes.

"Why would she lie?"

"Because I never confessed." I Said.

"You..."

"Me." I finished...

Daniel looked down at his feet. I grabbed my photo album that was next to me and grabbed Daniel's hand. Daniel looked up at me and then watched as I placed the album into the palms of his hands. He took the grip of the album with both of his hands.

"Our memories... my dearest friend." I Said as a tear slid down my cheek and I took once last look into his eyes before I walked away and left him alone on that roof. The sunset was close to fading...

That album I gave him was filled with pictures of us since day one and then some from now...

I cried as I walked to my apartment and when I slammed my apartment door closed, my mom came running and hugged me tight.

"I told him... I broke him." I Said with my cries.

"It's over."
