My Dearest Friend - Daniel Seavey

A week has passed and the thought of Daniel can never leave my mind. It feels permanent... stuck in my head and stuck in my heart. Of course, I still love Daniel... I still like him... more than a friend...

"Hey cutie," said Bryan as he wrapped his arms around me. I was leaning on the edge of the roof just watching all the boats move around.

"Hey," I said with a smile.

"I brought us lunch," he whispered in my ear. I smiled as he grabbed my hand and led us to this cute picnic set up on the middle of the roof.

"Oh my god... you didn't have to go all out," I said with a giggle.

"Anything for you," he said as we looked into each other's eyes. He gave me a quick peck on the lips before we both sat down.

    There were BLT sandwiches and some side dishes... we ate just about everything and I felt like a whale... literally.

"How was your day?" He Asked.

"Confusing," I Said staring at the sky in front of me.

"How so?"

"Long story short, but I talked to Daniel last week and it didn't end on a good note... I walked out on him."

"What were you guys talking about?" Asked Bryan who was concerned about how I was feeling.

I thought back to that day... "Because I loved you Aleea... I was in love with you."

"About how much we missed each other..."

"Why did you walk out on him then?"

"Because I thought the conversation wasn't going well... he yelled at me about how he trusted me and blah blah blah."

"I guess give him a little time to cool off before talking to him," Bryan gave me advice. I smiled, "good idea."

    We sat there for another hour just talking and goofing around. Bryan was actually leaving LA for a month to go on a road trip with his family which also means I will be lonely for a while. My mom is leaving back to Vancouver in four days to start packing up for LA.

    I wasn't used to living alone anymore. At least someone is over every night. Just me in my lonely apartment...

"I should head back home and start packing." Said, Bryan, as he stood up after we cleaned up our mess.

"I am gonna miss you," I Said with a pouty face and opened up my arms for a hug. He accepted and pulled me close.

"I will miss you too beautiful." He Whispered in my ear that sent several shivers down my spine. We looked into each other's eyes and he went in for a kiss. I kissed back at first and it began a small makeout.

   My kissing was losing pace with Bryan's as Daniel kept flashing up in my mind.

I was in love with you

    I completely stopped kissing Bryan...

"I am sorry... I just... you should go and have fun." I struggled to speak to my confused boyfriend in front of me.

"Ya... love you." He Said and kissed my forehead.

"Love you too."

    Bryan left the roof with his basket and I was alone...

    Daniel... I can't. We are in a horrible state right now. He hates me... I know he does. I let him down... completely.

I can't love him... I can't have feelings for Daniel... it's not right...

Useless... Daniel can't leave my mind no matter how hard I try...
