From running around the park, chasing each other, to running the opposite direction, farther from each other.
My closest friend left me in the fog as he went searching for his own sun. I can't get a reach of him, for the thick fog is keeping us...
A month passed and the boy's first album was coming out today. I didn't have a huge role in the album though. I was just the female vocalist for some songs. My voice will be very faint and I actually haven't heard any of the finished products yet.
A heard a loud knock at my front door and I startled out of my bed. I walked towards my door and looked through the peek hole... no one. Is this some kidnap scene?
I slowly opened the door and looked to the left and right of the hallway to find... still no one except for a wrapped box in front of me. It had black wrapping on it with a gold bow on top. Again. Kidnap trick?
I quickly grabbed the box and hurried back inside while closing and locking the door. I sat on my couch and opened on the coffee table. Once I removed a part of the wrapping paper, a cardboard box took place of the scene. I lifted the lid and inside with black and white tissue paper was the album!
My eyes grew, but then I noticed the note next to it. I lifted up the white piece of paper with sloppy but also neat handwriting and read it.
Well, here it is... thanks for being there to be our female vocalist and also the best-est friend I could ask for. I hope you will accept my invitation to dinner with me tonight. If so, meet me at my car tonight at 5... see you then <3
-Daniel
I smiled at the note... ha friend zoned. And then unwrapped the plastic cover from the album and then placed it into my DVD/stereo player.
I listened to the album all... well, hour long. I was watering my plants when I heard my voice coming from the speakers... and only my voice. It was the song I sang when the guys were eating pizza. Was that an accident? They would've have put my cover in there... it. It can't be. I walked closer and gave it a listen. Do I really sound like that? I mean Daniel told me that they NEVER use autotune in their songs but to me, it seemed too good to be... mine.
Once the song ended, I called Daniel and he was quick to respond.
"I love the album," I Said in a cool tone.
"Glad you love it." He Said back in a joyful mood.
"And uh... about the last song." I started.
"We thought it needed some spotlight." Said, Daniel.
"What? Why? How?"
"Luckily the mic was on while you were singing and it recorded it."
"Luckily?" I Asked.
"Look... it's beautiful. Now I have to go! I got a date to go too. Wish me luck!"
At that moment my heart rose but then shattered in mid-air... a date? He. He has a girlfriend?
"Have fun!" Is all I told him before we ended the call.
Daniel... the guy I have probably the biggest crush on... has a date to go too. What about our dinner tonight? This man is making my mind go crazy...
Well, I guess this is war, Daniel Seavey. This is war.
I hated that feeling of having a crush on someone and then another person takes them away from you... I felt furious and well... jealous.
For dinner, I didn't care about the occasion or dress requirements. I wanted to look good... but also try to be myself. You know.
I wore a bodycon skirt with a matching pink nude cropped cami.

"I looked in the mirror and tried on the two pairs of heels I own. After debating between the two. I ended up just wearing some white slip-on Vans and then straightened my hair.
Makeup... the same old basic thing like every day. Watch me never rock eyeshadow.
It was five minutes away from 5 and I decided to get my stuff together and walked down to Daniel's car. I brought my small black backpack with me because honey... I don't own a purse.
When I walked out the door I knew I was forgetting something... perfume!
I ran back inside, sprayed some perfume on and then hurried down the hallway and out the doors to see Daniel leaning against the hood of his white Mercedes. Similar to mine.
"You decided to show up." Said, Daniel, as he noticed me walking towards him.
"Couldn't pass it up," I Said as I was steps away from him. I could see his eyes trail off of my face and onto my body for a quick second. I didn't want to blush but I kept a big smile on my face.
