"You will not believe this." Daniel told me through the phone.

"What's so exciting?" I Asked with a giggle.

"My friend Angelina talked to Aleea (my ex best friend) at our local Starbucks!" He nearly screamed. I loved how happy he sounded. Happy that I was there, but probably still looking for me because Angi and I never exchanged numbers that day.

"Did you see her?" I Asked.

"No... unfortunately Angi and Aleea forgot to exchange numbers." Said Daniel while he brought his tone down a bit.

"Oh no... I am sorry about that. Maybe you two will find her again. Hopefully you will be the one to spot her."

"Angi told me that she looks completely did at first glance.... darker hair, light tips... she even said that she is sexy slim." Said Daniel.

"Sexy slim?" I Asked practically laughing through the phone.

"That's the way she described her." Said Daniel who laughed along. Little did he know that he was describing me and just doesn't know it.

"Wanna hang out today?" Asked Daniel.

"Sure... what re we going to do?" I asked him.

"Explore." He Said

We took a long and beautiful bike ride down Venice which is close to where we live.

"Hurry up slow poke!" I yelled at him and I sped up.

"I am so tired oh my goodness." Said Daniel as he pushed his petals as hard as he could. I slowed down and caught up to his speed.

"Wanna stop and rest?" I Asked with a smile.

"I would enjoy that." Said Daniel before we both pulled off and into the sand. We got closer to the shore, later our bikes down and took a big breath. It was very warm today. The summers in LA are pretty hot if I do say so my self.

"I am going to put my feet in." I told Daniel as I kicked off my black flip flops and ran into the water. I was wearing high waisted jeans with a nude cropped cami.

"I would join but... I am wearing socks and shoes." Said, Daniel.

"Come on!" I told him as I stood in the water, looking at him.

"Oh fine." He Said and I waited for him to take off his shoes and socks and reach me in the water.

"Refreshing?" I asked him as we looked eye to eye. His eyes matched the ocean below.

"Refreshing." Said Daniel. We kept our eyes together and Daniel moved closer to me. Placing a hand on my waist... I wondered what was going to happen next but then... he pulled me into a embraced hug.

"Thank you." He Said.

"For what?" I Asked.

"For... being here... I don't know. I am thankful that I met you." Said Daniel. What he said made me smile so big that my cheeks hurt.

"Thank you, Daniel... I am glad you stumbled into my life."

"Well... I am clumsy."

"Oh ya?" I asked as we let go of the hug.

"Oh don't you dare!" He Said as he began his run out of the water before I could push him in. I chased him all the way out and we ended up running around in the sand until Daniel tripped. Ya I laughed at him before actually helping him up... who wouldn't?

"Oh stop." Said Daniel with his amazing smile I can't get enough of.

"Wanna head back?" I Asked.

"No... I wanna stay here... with you."

And we did... we stayed on the beach till sunset. Just talking and talking about each other. Most were lies just so I can keep up the "I am not her" trick for a little longer. But how am i going to tell him anyway? He might find out before I can even explain my self.

We returned to our apartments and we separated ways. I flopped onto my bed, but I accidentally hit my head on something hard. I groaned and tried to pick it up and noticed that it was under my sheets at the end of my bed. I dug through and found a photo album. Must've gotten stuck when I was unpacking.

I opened the album and looked through the photos. This was an older album... there were photos of me and Daniel in them. I smiled and realized that I actually have one or two printed photos of Daniel and I recently so I searched for them and once I found them, I stuck them in the album next to the others.

"I am sorry Daniel." I said to myself and then placed the album on my night stand before standing up and deciding to have a snack instead of a full meal for dinner.

These days felt slow...
