"What're you doing this weekend Jennae?" Your best friend approaches you in the common room as you struggle to hold onto all your subject supplies. You give a small shrug, your face falling into a frown.

"I'll probably end up doing this massive pile of homework," the two of you shared a laugh as you made your way out of the Slytherin common room.

She continues to tease you as you make your way to your scheduled class, drop your books on the rectangular table, and head down for breakfast. "It doesn't help that you're procrastinating endlessly, I'm surprised you're even passing. How do you do it?" She shakes her head as the two of you wave to Pansy, as she clings to Crabbe and Goyle's arms.

"Well, I don't know. Maybe because I'm one hell of a witch?" You drive her attention back to yourself, but it doesn't help with the tension.

"Are you alright?"

"She's all over Crabbe!" Molly crosses her arms, and you watch her quiet demeanor become angry. "I knew I shouldn't have told her that I fancied him!"

You drape an arm around her shoulder and give a friendly squeeze, "listen, he didn't seen interested at all Molly. And if he is, I am going to give her a permanent stay at St. Mungos."

You send her into another chuckle, and she sighs. "You're right. I'm acting like there aren't hundreds of other fine looking gentlemen in this school," she lowers her voice, growling playfully. The two of you pass a group of sixth year boys, and your eyes roll as she checks out every last one of them.

"You know who is surprisingly fine?" She nudges you as the two of you sweep into the Great Hall. The room is loud as everything scrambles to find something to eat on, and you know your conversation has only a small risk of being heard.

You make your way to the other end of the room, where the Slytherin students move to make spots for the two of you. "Who?" Your eyes sweep over the room, catching colourful eyes already on you.

"Harry Potter. Obviously he would never go for one of us, but goddamn his parents did him good with genetics." She whistles quickly before she helps herself to a bowl of cereal.

You pick out a muffin, and a glass of orange juice- letting the echoes of the room quiet you. Molly starts describing how she plans on getting Crabbe back from Pansy, and making her cry. You however, decide to scower the room once more."

You narrow your eyes until each person becomes uncomfortable, and looks away first. A pair of striking blue eyes, reflected by a pair of glasses catch yours as you move on from the next flustered student.

"You're totally staring at Harry Potter," Molly gives a slight squeal, "and he's totally staring back at you!"

You're engulfed by the striking features of his face, to care what she's saying. Even from two tables over, it is clear to you that Harry has definitely changed over the summer. His eyebrows furrow as he gaze on you intensifies, before he settles on a smile and a quick wink. This is just before Hermione slaps his arm, and begins to what looks like tease him.

He breaks your gaze then, mumbling something as he falls back to their attention. "Is it just me, or were the two you totally baiting each other from across the room?" Molly fans herself with a napkin. "Girl, I told you he was fine!"
