.One year later.

I have to be honest, my life is going great. I have a new best friend at Barden, Aubrey. Aubrey is just as hot as me, according to the boys. She has long blonde hair and a dazzling smile. I'm twenty, so this year I'm a junior. I'm a Barden Bella and still proud of that. Aubrey is the captain, but I don't mind. She's rough, but she has a good heart. Every boy is drooling over Aubrey and me, but with me, they don't stand a chance. I'm having a relationship with the football captain Tom for a year now. I'm still having contact with my other best friend Beca, but haven't seen her in a year. I'm wondering where she's right now and if she's still a volleyball player. Beca doesn't know I'm having a relationship, despite our contact on Whatsapp every day. I couldn't tell her, I don't know why and I still can't. Something inside me stings when I think about Tom, I don't know what it is.

,,There you are." I turn around to find Aubrey and my boyfriend standing in front of me.

,,Hey guys, how was your summer holiday?"

,,It was amazing, I met somebody."

,,Bree, that's amazing! What's his name?"

,,Her name is Stacie." I raise my eyebrow. Wait a minute. Aubrey is bisexual? Not that I mind, because everybody has to right to love the same gender. ,,And she's coming to Barden University too!"

,,That's really great Bree, you can see her more often." I turn my gaze to my boyfriend, but he's not looking at me. I follow his gaze and see him checking out some girl who walks through the hallway. ,,Tom?" I say, what moves his attention back to me. ,,How was your holiday?"

,,It was awesome, I met so many chicks who wanted to have sex with me! We were at the beach at sunset and had a really good night." That sentence almost makes me throw up. Every holiday or week off, Tom have sex with some other girl. I agreed on an open relationship, but is this really what I wanted?

,,Gross, but how was your holiday? Found the one you where looking for?" Aubrey asks me and Tom interrupt us.

,,Wait, you have a summer romance too?"

,,Oh stop nagging," I start. ,,every holiday you have another girl you have sex with and I can't visit my best friend?!"

,,Stop scaring me like that babe, I thought you had another lover."

,,Why can you have someone else and I can't?"

,,Oh babe you're pretty but, and don't take this the wrong way, you're very indecisive. We only had sex once and the next morning you told me you regretted it. What should I do with that? I love you, but I want sex more than once."

,,So I'm not good enough for you? You only love me for sex?"

,,That's not what I meant." Tom tries to comfort me, but I can feel the tears coming out of my eyes. I shake my head and run into the nearest toilets. What's wrong with Tom? He has changed over the summer. He has never humiliated me in front of my best friend or insulted me. Suddenly I hear the door open and some footsteps. I can't let anybody see me like this and quickly wipe the tears away. The person who came in just a minute ago hasn't said a word or has moved from her spot. Weird... I sniff loudly, clear my throat as I begin hastily running some water and wash my hands.

,,He's an ass." It's the first time I hear her voice and I recognize that voice everywhere. I turn around to face her and my heart jumps. It's her!

,,Beca?" Beca smiles and begins to stuff her hands in the back of her jeans pocket.

,,Surprise!" She says and I squeal. I've missed her so much! I run up to her and without a warning, I throw my hands around her and pull her against me.
