Bella looks at me while we're laughing on the couch in my father's house. My father isn't here right now and I'm glad he isn't because he didn't accept my sexuality. Yesterday we had a day off from school because we had to attend Ashley's funeral. It was a emotional rollercoaster, but I can have closure now. Jessica on the other hand is devestated, what I understand because I would be broken too if I had to bury Chloe. Today I'm going to spend a day with my sister Isabella, I haven't seen her in days.

,,So how are you holding up?" Bella asks when we stop laughing about our past.

,,I'm hanging. I wish I could do more for Chloe, but I can't do anything and that's frustrating as hell."

,,You can help her by visiting her every day."

,,What's the point in doing that? She can't even see or hear me, so she won't notice I'm there."

,,So you don't want to visit her anymore?"

,,That's not what I said. I want to help her and I might have an idea how."

,,What are you going to do?"

,,We are going to investigate Chloe's accident."

,,Wait, we?"

,,Yeah, as my sister you need to help me. You know how much I care about Chloe."

,,You really think you can find the person who responsible for the accident?"

,,Bella, it's us you're talking about. We can achieve anything, we're the Mitchell sisters."

,,Ha ha, I never thought about that. What did you have in mind?"

,,So you're helping me?"

,,Of course, you're my sister and I love you. I know how much Chloe means to you. Do you already have a start?"

,,No, not yet. I do have a pinboard, but I don't know where to start."

,,Well, you need to go to the place where the accident was, maybe there's something the police didn't notice. Maybe we can ask for the footage of the camera that hangs there?"

,,The police won't let us look at that."

,,I think they will." I look at Bella who's smirking. 

,,Okay, what did you do?" I point out to her.

,,I might have a friend at the police station."

,,Really?"

,,Yeah and he owes me one, so -"

,,Then what are we waiting for? Let's go!" I grab her hand and together we're walking to the police station.

,,Brandon." Bella says, what makes a guy look up.

,,Isa, how are you?" He gets up from his desk and gives her a hug.

,,I'm good, but we didn't come here for nothing." Now Brandon looks at me and sticks out his hand to me.

,,And you are?"

,,Beca Mitchell, Isabella's sister." He nods and looks back to Bella.

,,So what can I do for you two?"

,,Well, have you heard about the accident of Chloe Beale?"

,,Yeah, a strange accident if you ask me. At that intersection, people drive through the red most of the time, but never cause a real accident."

,,What are you implying?!" I yell and look at Brandon. ,,Are you implying that it was Chloe's own fault?!"

,,No that's not what I'm saying. Most of the time people who drive through the green light stops before they could get hit."

,,Chloe wasn't driving."

,,We both think someone hit the car on purpose." Bella explains. Brandon looks at her.

,,Are you sure about that?"

,,Yes, can we see the footage of the camera?"

,,Isa, that's not something I can do."

,,Please Brandon, Beca is really concerned about her girlfriend and she wants to investigate." He looks at me again, before sitting behind his desk again.

,,I understand that you're worried about your girlfriend Beca, but I haven't even seen the footage myself."

,,That's okay, we can watch it together." Bella says. ,,And by the way, you still owe me."

,,Fine I'll watch it, but if anyone comes I stop immediately, okay?"

,,Yeah whatever, just watch that footage already." I say a little impatient. Brandon clicks on his computer a few times and then the footage of the camera starts playing. We see the accident and then I'm focused on the car that hit Aubrey's. ,,Stop!" I yell when I see the driver getting out of the car. The picture isn't very clear, but I can tell it's a man. ,,Can you print that picture?" Brandon nods and does what I ask. He prints another picture of the wrecked car. Wait for a second?! Where is Chloe's necklace? ,,Where is her necklace?" I ask Brandon.

,,What necklace?"

,,The one Chloe would never take of!"

,,I don't know what you're talking about. There's a note to this footage, that they have examined everything. They didn't find a necklace."

,,Then her necklace is stolen!"

,,How can you be so sure that she had a necklace?"

,,Because she's my girlfriend duh!" I'm getting mad. Does he want to help us or not?

,,Beca, let's go. We have footage of the accident, just like you wanted right?" Bella looks at me and I nod while grabbing the pictures and walking away. ,,Thank you Brandon." Says Bella and follows me.

When we arrive at the hospital and sitting in the room where Chloe lies, we set up the pin board we brought with us. We put the pictures of the accident on the board with thumbtacks.

,,We have pictures Chlo," I start while looking at her. ,,Bella is going to help me find out who did this to you. We will find out, I promise. I won't let you down."

,,Do you recognize that guy?" Bella points to the picture of the suspect.

,,No, the picture is too dark. We need something to light that picture, but I don't know how."

,,How can you make a picture lighter?"

,,I wish I knew, I'm just glad we can work with something and that Chloe is safe. Nobody can touch her while she's lying in the hospital."

,,You think that guy wants to kill her?!" Yells Bella with a shocking expression on her face.

,,Everything is possible. He drove against Ashley's car with tremendous speed."

,,How do you know it wasn't Ashley, Aubrey or Jessica he was after?"

,,That's possible too and if so, we have to find out who wants to hurt her, Chloe, Jessica or Aubrey."

,,How are we going to find that guy if we don't even recognize him?"

,,We'll find a way." I say and give her a hug. ,,I'm not going to stop until he pays for this."

,,Chloe can be happy to have you as a girlfriend." Bella gives me a hug. Girlfriend. I wish that was true, but I guess that will never happen because Chloe will be one happy family with Tom and I will lose my best friend forever!
