Wendy
I slowed my steps as I entered the boy's dorm, walking about nonchalantly so the D.A. wouldn’t notice me. The elevator opened and I stepped in, one-step closer to finding out what my brother was hiding. I knew Wyatt had her, there was something in the way he acted by the sound of her name that made me sure of it. The elevator slid shut and I was lurched upward.
"What are you?" a voice said, I turned around. Jake stood wedged between two corners of the elevator cowering away from me.
"What are you talking about?" I asked just as the elevator stopped. He stepped in front of me, "What the hell are you and your brother, because I damn well know that you are not human."
I let out a breath and did my best to remain calm, there was no way Jake knew anything; we barely interacted with him. I looked him in the eye, he was serious about what he was saying but I did not have time to foster any ideas, Wyatt was probably on the next elevator up.
"Jake we are human you probably hit your head or something ok so just move out of my way".
I did not compel him but the tone of my voice was enough to scare him out of the way.
I ran to Wyatt's room and forced my way in. I powered on Wyatt's laptop, and waited impatiently for it to boot up. When the apple desktop appeared I opened the software, and faced another problem; the password. I racked my brain for anything that interested him, I tried girls, food, money, vampire, and wizard, neither of them worked. I sat there drawing a blank. Then in my most radical moment, I typed the name Annie into the password box and I got access to the software. Now I was certain he knew who she was.
I could hear Wyatt's footsteps rapidly approaching the room. I typed Annie's name into the search box and up popped her profile. I clicked on her location but I didn't a map, or even a city, I got a blank page with the word Gone in big red letters.
"What the hell?" I asked going back to the profile page my eyes scanned the page looking for more information.
"If you click the more button, you'll see rolls of pictures of me and Annie together," I slowly turned around; Wyatt stood in the doorway, his face totally emotionless.
