Wendy
I could not breathe; I didn't need to. My eyes opened to the sound of thunder and the crackle of lightening. First thing I smelled, was humans, the blood coursing through their veins. Five sets of fangs grew out of my gums and persuaded me to eat. Slowly I sat up; everything insight looked gray and wild.
"Wendy take deep breaths calm yourself down" Charlotte's voice was hectic. I stood up ignoring her.
"Wendy?" Matthew and Wyatt said in unison. I needed to eat but I was holding out. I felt my knees giving in; "you're supposed to be dead". I turned to her:
"A girl with hair as black as night, lips as red as ruby's, skin as white as snow and eyes as blue as the sea, she wanders helplessly looking for her lost love her heart an empty pit only he could fill, she kills in her path to find, she uses and never regrets and never will until they are reunited.” I whispered to myself.
"Die" she said through clenched teeth, I coughed up blood and fell to the floor.
All of a sudden, a surge of power went through me, I stood up but was soon knocked down. I tried again but it ended in the same result. My skin started to burn slowly then a fire spurted up. I wiggled around screaming in pain. "You should have just died when I told you to", I could hear the smile on her lips. I screamed in agony as the flames consumed me.
A shot rang out and the flames disappeared, Annie fell to the ground dead. I didn't see who had shot, the gun lay between Matthew and Wyatt both of them staring at me with the same expression.
In the distance, the sound of police sirens could be heard; by the second set, I was long gone.
