Where the heck are you, Annie?!

Sent.

It's already 19:34 on the clock. She's not here when I do my part on the opening ceremony and until I finished it. Now, it's been freakin' thirty minutes since the party started and I'm already feeling dizzy circling around the auditorium, searching for her whereabouts and even for a slight shadow of her!

Online 5 minutes ago.

Annie, wherever you are, hit me up a message, will you?

I get it. She's not online anymore. I just hope that she's with Luke now. But why aren't they here? Where are they? More importantly, what are they doing somewhere if they aren't here?!

Oh goshy! My thoughts! My freakin' thoughts! I need to shut up now. Maybe I have to distract myself before the freakin' thoughts eat me whole. I make my way towards the dance floor which is at the center of the auditorium. My head is adapting to the jive of the music pumping on my ears with the lyrics that go like sugar...yes, please... Sugar? Sorry to inform you, I don't have that. But I'm dancing anyway! Woohoo! This is awesome! My feet and hands are moving on their own accord. My head is spinning as the loud roar of the music goes into my ears. Yeah! My hips, well, just slightly swaying. Of course, I don't wanna cause any disruption here. Haha! Just kidding! I am really enjoying this!

But before I totally get carried away, the music suddenly changes into a slow dance. Like, really? Is it necessary? Not everyone here has a partner! I don't even have one!

To my dismay, I walk out of the dance floor and decide to just sulk in the corner of the auditorium. But to my surprise, a vampire suddenly appears in front of me, catching me off guard that I almost stumble backwards.

"Who are you?!" I blurt out with a frown in my face and of course, my nervous beating heart.

"It's me." The vampire speaks.

"Who?" I ask again.

"Luke." What?

"What? You're Luke?" I ask, confused. It's actually hard to picture that this is Luke because obviously, this is a Halloween party and he's wearing a costume and a mask. But there's something odd about him...

"Yes."

"Where is Annie? Is she with you?"

"What? She's not with you?" Huh? My frown deepens.

"Wait, are you telling me that - that Annie is not with you?!" Oh no. My tone rises up and I have to bring Luke with me towards the far corner of the auditorium.

"I've been looking all around here, but she's nowhere to be seen." he says.

"Same here." I say, crossing my arms in front of me. "But I really thought that she's with you." I add.
