It was a blast.
Last night was the most precious moment that has ever happened in my life.
At first, I thought that it was a dream.
But then, the moment I wake up, Anna is smiling down on me, already geared up.
It's definitely not a dream.
"Wake up, sleepyhead." her smile is contagious, so sweet and really good to see.
"Is it time to go?" I ask, my eyes are still adjusting.
"Not yet, but I don't want you to miss the spectacle." she says. Then she gets out of my sight, making the early morning rays of the sun hit my half-awake face. Instinctively, my hand shoots up and cover my eyes.
"Get up now, Matthew." she speaks with humor in her voice.
I slowly get up and look at her, setting aside the rays of the sun on my face. She's gathering up some things. And I take my time to admire her carefree sight.
What a morning delight.
"Hey!" she waves at me.
"Come on, now!" Smiling on an early morning is really great. Especially when you get to see the person, who makes your heart flutters in an unusual but good way, is with you. And she is the main reason why you're smiling.
I get up, dust off myself and at least rinse off my mouth before I go on her direction.
She's now sitting on the edge of a precipice and before I could even get close to her, I am suddenly stunned on where I am.
Woah...
So, this is the spectacle she's talking about.
The morning breeze is all around us, mixing with the fresh morning rays of the sun which is shining so brightly over the sea in front of us...
I think I'm gaping.
And before I could notice it, I look at Anna and I catch her looking at me. With her head slightly tilted on her right side, there's a warm smile on her face. Then she taps the spot next to her.
"Spectacular, right?" she asks, looking straight at the glorious morning sun. Her eyes are shining, what she's seeing is reflecting on her eyes and on her entire being.
And it was such a beautiful sight...
"It is..." the moment my eyes catch hers, I feel captivated. A good feeling inside of me is now starting to rise again, blooming up as my heart delights with this mixture of feelings and emotions.
My hand involuntary rise up, finding her face. Gently, I touch it and feel it under my palm. She leans on it with the still warm smile on her face.
Last night was truly an awesome night.
And I don't think that I would be able to forget it.
With Anna in my life, everything seems so bright.
