A/n: Hello everyone! I'm back. It's been a while since I last updated the story. You know why? I'm currently on the part of my life where I'm transitioning from student life to adult life. I NEED A JOB! I've been looking for a job for the past few weeks. But hey, it's not yet here. So instead of thinking too much, I must write again and here I am. I also want to thank everyone who's been reading this story. Please continue to support me, kindly VOTE and COMMENT. You can also follow me if you want. I will really appreciate it - I need all your support especially right now.

See you in the next chapter!

Yesterday was a great time to really make it up to Cindy.

We spent the whole afternoon while sipping on our favorite drinks. Cappuccino and butterscotch for her and iced-cold chocolate and cheesecakes for me. But of course, we also ordered some snacks to keep our tummy full as we wait for the rain to stop.

Thankfully, we were able to go back to the flat when the rain slightly came to a halt. But it's still raining heavily up until now.

Good thing it's also a holiday today. Cindy got out to do some quick grocery shopping. But I bet that it's not gonna be a quick one. When she goes to the mall, the moment she sets her feet inside, she's never been back early - the word quick is totally impossible.

That's why I'm left alone, watching some old but good movies on her laptop.

By the way, she's still staying too long in my room. She loves cuddling with someone when it's raining. Poor me, she still doesn't have a boyfriend. I'm her only one.

I'm watching the classic 3 idiots which is an Indian movie. Thank you, subtitles. Every part of this movie is so good. I've already watched this movie for quite a few times already. I'm still so into it until now - that I almost didn't notice my phone light up. Someone's calling.

Who's -

It's Luke.

My phone is located far across me, almost at the edge of the bed. When I reach out to get it, because the laptop is sitting pretty in front of me, instead of getting the phone, I accidentally pushed it off the bed.

Damn.

A cold shiver runs down to my spine. Quickly, I stand up and get off the bed.

"How could this happen - I don't have any extra if this phone is gonna break!" I hiss to myself.

And yep, it fell, face first.

Don't you dare break -

("Anna?")

It's on call.

Have I pushed the answer icon before it fell? Oh no.

"Umm," I cleared my throat.

("Anna, are you there?")

"Hello?"

("Hi - are you okay? I heard a thump just a while ago -")

"Oh, yes. I'm well. It's just - the phone, it fell down when, umm, when I'm reaching out for it."

("Ah, I see...")

"Yes, that's why, umm..."

silence...

"Anna -"

"Luke -"

Oh gosh.

This is awkward.

"You speak -"

"What is it -"
