A/n: I'm super-duper out of writing vibe lately. And I just want to finish this story. But don't worry, I won't be finishing it in a bad way. After all, this will be my first ever completed story haha. Anyway, I won't ask for any questions for now. Let's get back to the story right away ~
~ Miss Elle
________
Anna
The entire game is so thrilling.
Personally, and honestly speaking, I don't know the technicalities in a basketball game, so I don't actually know what's going on.
However, as long as Matthew shoots the ball, I'm assured that it's for the win.
And now, we're in the last 30 seconds of the game. But there's a tie. Both the most valuable player of the teams will determine who's going to win this game.
The crowd is crazy, and it's an understatement.
As expected, Matthew is popular among the teens and of course, among the girls in general. And if I have to have a survey here, I think most of the audience is for Matthew.
And a great number of them possibly despise me now - thanks to Matthew.
He's blowing me kisses every now and then. And I can't help but blush under his spell.
Caleb is just laughing about it and Luke is making fun of it. But Melissa is squirming about it. To think that her favorite son has been bewitched by me. That idea is turning her into a green jalapeno.
But before I make her explode, I need to relieve myself first.
"Luke, I'll go to the restroom," I whispered to Luke.
"Sure, do you know your way?"
"Yes, I think so."
"Be quick then, you don't want to miss the last part." I nod at him and walk away.
The restroom is not far from our seats. Reaching it, I do my business right away. And when I'm about to get out after finishing, three familiar ugly faces appear in front of me.
"Look this b****," the leader of the gang says in an unladylike manner.
"So she really came here huh,"
"She's really gettin' our Matty away from us," I snort.
"Excuse me, I have to go."
"Hey hey, not too fast, poor missy,"
"Looks like Anna leech is no longer afraid of us, Betty," the left hand of the leader speaks.
"Shut the f*** up, Ross!" The right-hand hisses at her.
"Enough the two of you!" Betty, aka the loudest bully when I was still in the old town.
The two gongs quiet down at her barks. Then she turns to me.
"Now, Anna leech, I'll be upfront here, leave our Matty and get.out.of.our FACES!!!"
Well, if I was still the old me, I might've been already trembling in her presence. But sorry, the old Anna is gone.
"You know what?" I step closer, "I'm tired of all your barks."
That makes her scowl horribly at me.
"What did you f****** say??!!"
"I don't want to reconnect with you guys, so leave me and my boyfriend alone," I say calmly.
"Haha hahaha!!!" Betty laughs at me and so as the two gongs.
"Anna, poor leech Anna huhu, sorry but you're still that teary-eyed poor little girl crying ceaselessly at the grave of her idiotic parents —"
