I ran out onto the lawn and broke down beside our skateboards.  I heard him calling my name but all he could hear was my sobbing.

“Hey Y/N, I’m sorry,” he said reassuringly.  I turned face and cried into my hands.  “Y/N, I didn’t mean it,” he said quietly.  “Look at me,” he said, placing himself in front of me.  I stopped and took away my hands revealing a big smile.  His face was stunned for a moment before a joking grin formed on his lips.  “You little fuck,” he laughed and tackled me onto the grass.  He fell on top of me and started to tickle my sides and legs.  I cried out.  I tried to pull away but our legs were tangled together.  I finally gave in and started to laugh uncontrollably.

“Stop Calum!  I’m going to piss myself!”  I laughed, but he continued.  “Ow!  Ow Calum, my leg!” I said, pushing him off.  He chuckled and rolled off of me.

“Sorry,” he smiled.  We both ended side by side on our backs looking up into the darkened sky.

“What time is it?” I asked him.

“Night time,” he said certainly.  I turned my head.

“Really?” I asked looking at him.  He stared back at me and shrugged his shoulders.

“You asked,” he said.  I smiled and shook my head slowly.

“Your right though,” I said as I stared back up at the sky.  He adjusted his beanie and put one of his hands under his head.

“About what?” he asked.  I mimicked his motion and put my hands under my head.

“My life sucks, badly,” I said flatly.  He turned his head quietly to face me.

“Well I guess that makes two of us,” he said, his mouth a flat line.  I turned my head fully to face him.

“How so?” I asked.  Calum’s lips formed a faint smile.

        “Ways,” he said.  I sighed.

“I’ll tell you my story if you tell me yours,” I offered.  He turned to me and thought for a moment.

“Alright,” he sighed.  We both went back on our backs and Calum started to speak.

“Well, okay, so-” he started before his mouth was covered by a hand and he was picked up off of the ground by two people.  I jolted up and turned to see a blond haired boy sitting next to me.  “Boo,” he said and made me jump.

“Oh God!” I said putting a hand to my chest.  The boy grinned playfully.

“I’m Luke,” he said and put his hand out for me to shake.  Luke had blond hair and blue eyes and a lip ring on his bottom lip.  He was very tall and thin with black skinny jeans ripped at both knees.

“Y/N,” I replied taking his hand.  He helped me up and we went over to the pile of boys now wrestling on the grass.  Calum was laughing and struggling with the two other boys.

“Guys, guys, I need to introduce you to someone,” he said and stood up.  The two boys followed him up onto their feet.  “This is Y/N,” he smiled.  I greeted them with a wave of my hand.

“Hey,” I said with a smile.  One of the boys grinned widely and picked me up in a bone crushing hug.

“I’m Ashton,” he giggled and put me back down.  Ashton had light brown hair and hazel eyes.  His face was happy and had cute dimples.  I looked to the other boy.

“I’m Michael,” he said.  Michael had crazy colored hair and light green eyes.  They were all a head taller than me, as they stood around.  “What happened to you?” Michael asked, pointing down at my bandaged legs.  I looked down.

“Oh, I fell off my skateboard and landed pretty badly,” I said sheepishly.  The boys shuddered.

        “Ooh, hard core,” Ashton said.

“I’m guessing Cal here was to the rescue?” Luke asked, walking over to his friend.  I looked at Calum with a knowing look.

“Actually,” I started. “He tried to steal my phone while I was still on the ground,” I said with a smile.  Ashton gave Calum a disapproving look, Michael gave him a slam to the back of his head, and Luke tried to cover his smile.

“It was a joke!” Calum said and out his hands up in defense.

“Yeah it’s totally fine, it’s hard to resist a good joke,” I reassured them.  I smiled innocently but they saw where I was going.

“You’re going to get me back aren’t you,” Calum said with a skeptic look.

I gasped.  “I would never do that!” I said, shocked, but smiled.  “But keep in mind that I know where you live now,” I said with a mischievous smile.  All of them laughed except Calum who was scowling.

“I like her Cal,” Ashton said.

        “Me too,” Luke seconded.

“As long as she doesn’t prank me in the process,” Michael warned and I giggled.  I looked at my phone. It was 8PM.

“Well I should get going,” I said, and grabbed my board.  Luke elbowed Calum and he looked up.

“Uh, are you sure you don’t want to eat with us?  The guys brought pizza,” he offered.  I thought for a moment, spinning a wheel on my board.

“Are you guys cool with it?” I asked.  The guys nodded.

“Why not?  We would want to hear about the impression Calum left on you,” Michael said.  I shook my head smiling.

“Alright,” I gave in and walked into the house after the boys.
