I followed Calum up to the living room.  He walked up to one of the couches and turned to me, leaning on his bass.  "What's up?" I asked him.  He sighed.

"What do you think of Ashton?" he asked, looking straight into my eyes.

"Um, he's cool, why?" I said uncertainly.

"No I mean like what do you think of him?" he said again, wringing his hands together.  I looked at Calum closely.

"Why do you care what I think of him?" I said, crossing my arms.  He stood up straight and shrugged.

"It seems like you two are getting close," he muttered.  I nodded  slowly.

"Okay," I said.  "Are you jealous?" I asked him.  His head shot up and his eyebrows wrinkled.

"What? Why would I be jealous of you and Ash?  Do whatever you want," he said defensively.  Just then Luke came up from behind me.

"Hey Y/N, if you're free let me know if you want those lessons," he said with a smile.  I looked from Luke to Calum.

"Fine then," I said to Calum with a scowl.

"Yeah Luke I'm free," I said with a smile.

"Now?" he said.  I nodded quickly.

"Yep, right now.  Let's go," I said happily taking his hand.  He chuckled and led me up the stairs, leaving Calum speechless in the living room.  We walked into a lounging room upstairs and sat down on the couch.

"Okay, here are some music sheets, you can pick one you like and I'll get my guitar," he said.  I nodded and he went down the hall.  I picked up the pile of sheets and flipped through the song titles.  I took one out that I have heard before and looked through the lyrics.  "I haven't played that one in a while," Luke said.  I looked up and smiled.

"I haven't heard this in a while.  Mayday Parade right?" I asked, moving down the couch for Luke to sit down.  He nodded.

"Yeah, you know them?" he asked.  I nodded happily.

"Obviously!"  I exclaimed.  He chuckled and placed the guitar on his knee.  "So where's Michael?" I asked him.

"He's helping Ashton with a broken drum," he answered.  "It happens a lot."  I smiled.

"Sounds like him," I giggled.  Luke smiled.

"Alright, let me start off," he said and took the sheets from me.  Luke stuck his pick in between his teeth and placed the sheets on the coffee table in front of us.  He swept his blond hair out of his eyes and started to strum the guitar.  The neck of the guitar was securely held with his long fingers and the strings made a slow melodious sound with the strum of each chord.  After going through a few chords of the song, he stopped to look at me.  "It's just a lot of repetition after that," he said.  "Okay you're go," he said handing me the instrument.  I slowly took the guitar from him and placed it on my lap.

"Can I just listen to you play?" I pouted.  He chuckled.

"This is why I'm here to teach you," he said.  I sighed and put my hands in place.

"I can't even put my fingers around the guitar!" I said. "My hands are like... stunted," I said, looking down at them.  Luke laughed and took one of my hands.

"Oh wow," he said, placing his large hand against mine.  "They are small."  He curled the tips of his fingers on top of mine, showing how much longer his fingers were compared to mine.  "That doesn't matter," he smiled.  Luke moved off of the couch, kneeling in front of me and placed my left hand on the neck of the guitar, and the right over the guitar on the strings.  "Okay, this is first position," he instructed.  "Now the strum pattern goes like this," he said and strummed the air in a pattern of the song.  I tried to copy him on the guitar.

"Okay, I think I got it," I said, crinkling my eyebrows.  Luke bit his bottom lip, trying to hide a smile.  "Here," he said, taking a seat behind me, placing his long legs on either side of mine.  Hesitantly, he placed his hands on top of mine.

"You almost got it." he smiled, guiding my hand across the strings.  I continued the strumming and Luke started to change the chords.  "Okay, it goes B, F, C" he said, moving his fingers along the neck of the guitar.  He played the chords as I strummed the strings.  He rested his chin on my shoulder as he concentrated on the guitar.  I looked at Luke who was silently playing his side of the guitar.  I took my free hand and poked the side of his face a few times.  A constipated sound came out of his mouth.  I giggled.

"So serious," I told him.  He swung his head to face me.

        "Am not," he replied.

"Yep," I nodded.  "You just sit  around smirking being all quiet and everything," I said, shaking my head.

"Okay one, you won't understand until you see me hanging around the boys.  And two... quiet is sexy," He said wiggling his eyebrows.  I smiled lightly and slowly turned my head back to him.

"Of course it is," I replied.  Luke chuckled.

"Alright."  Slowly, Luke moved my hands to the neck of the guitar, and guided my fingers to change the chords.  He turned his head to look at my hand, his breath brushing against my neck and face.

"What?" I smiled.  He smiled back.

"You're a natural," he said.  I turned my head so I could look him in the eyes,

"And you're a liar," I said.  He chuckled.

"I'm not!" he argued.  As we continued to play, I started to hum to the music.  Luke nodded his head and started to sing the chorus.

"Do you know the words?" Luke asked.   I shrugged.

"Yeah, but I don't sing," I said sheepishly.  Luke laughed.

"Who's the liar now?" he smiled, nudging me.  I stuck out my tongue, annoyed.

"So you think you got it now?" Luke asked.  I nodded slowly.

"A little," I said, constantly looking at the strings.  Luke placed his hands in front of my face.

"I think you've got it more than a little," he chuckled.  I paused.

"What?" I said, confused.  My eyes widened.  "Oh my God, I'm doing it!" I said happily.  Just then, my fingers slipped and I lost my place.  I looked at Luke and shrugged.  "Well I was doing it."  I corrected myself.  Luke smiled, his dimple appearing on his cheek.

"I called it, you're a natural," he said.

"Thanks Luke," I said happily.  He wrapped his arms around my torso.

"No problem," he replied.  We heard footsteps coming up the stairs and Calum walked into the lounge.  Luke retracted his arms from around me and we both stood up quickly.  Calum and Luke stared at each other as I looked from both of their faces, trying to figure out what they were going to do.  "Um... I'm gonna give you two some privacy," Luke said, taking his guitar from my hands.  I nodded slowly, not knowing what to do.
