The sun shone brightly into the bedroom warming the bed sheets.  I took a deep breath and opened my eyes slowly.  I felt a weight on my waist as I shuffled slightly.  I looked under the covers and saw Calum's arm around my waist.  My shirt rode up slightly, Calum's fingers brushing lightly against my stomach.  I felt a breeze against my neck and turned my head slightly.  Calum's head was tucked gently behind my neck, his slow breaths hitting my neck and shoulder.  With one arm around me, his other was tucked under his head.  His hard chest was lightly resting against my back, but far enough for comfort.  I sighed and turned back around.  Every so often Calum's breath would hit my skin and my heart would tighten slightly as goose bumps crept up my body.  I tried to move but held my breath, worried I might wake him up.  I moved my body up and heard a chuckle behind me.

"I guess I'm not the only one who's nervous about sharing a bed," Calum said, his morning voice whispering in my ear.   I flipped over so we were face to face, our noses almost touching.

"Nope, still just you," I said with a smile.  He rolled his eyes.

"Oh please, I could feel your heart beating through my shirt," he smiled.

"Oh that was your heart," I said, putting a finger on his chest and stuck my tongue out.  "Besides," I continued.  "If it was me, it was because I woke up with a strange arm on me."  He pouted his bottom lip out at me.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to.  I just like a cuddle," he defended.  I giggled.

"Adorable," I said sarcastically.  Calum smiled and took both of his arms and wrapped them around me and started to tickle my stomach.  I squirmed in his arms but he wouldn't let go.  "Calum, Stop!" I screamed, grabbing onto his arms.

"Come on Y/N, I know you're stronger than that," he smiled.  I sat up and kicked the covers off.

"Calum, I'm serious! I will hurt you!" I warned through the laughter.  He sighed and smiled.

"Alright," he said and let me go.  "I think we woke the boys up," Calum said, looking toward the door.  I grabbed my phone.

"What do you mean? It's almost 11 AM!" I said, astounded.  He shrugged.

"It's break, 11 is early for us," he said.  I shook my head.

"Okay, I'll get ready," I said and jumped off of the bed.  As soon as my feet hit the floor, a splitting pain went through my head.  A strange sensation went through my body and my vision got dark and fuzzy.  I clutched my head and crouched over.  Calum got off the bed and walked over to me.

"Y/N," he said.  I pushed past him towards the bathroom and ran over to the toilet.  I hunched over pouring out last night's dinner into the bowl.  I spit into the bowl and groaned.  I felt Calum's hands pull the hair out of my face and sit beside me.  He rubbed circles on my back until I finished.  I finally stood up and rinsed my mouth out with mouthwash.  I sighed and sat on the bathroom floor, looking up at Calum.  "What's wrong?" he asked, kneeling beside me.

"My head feels like it's been split in half," I whispered cradling my head in my hands.  Calum sat in front of me and tapped my knee.

"Here look at me," he said.  I picked my head up and looked into Calum's eyes.  His eyebrows were scrunched together as his dark brown eyes looked into mine.  "I think you have a concussion," he said and stood up.  "I'm gonna get you some water.  Go into the room and lie down," he said and rushed out.  I slowly got up and sat on a bean bag chair in the middle of the floor.  The door opened and Calum and the boys came in with armful of supplies.

"Hey sleepy head," Michael said, placing all of the supplies on the floor in front of me.

"Are you okay?" Ashton asked, fully worried.  I nodded my head.

"I'm fine, just a little sick," I said.  Calum got out a washcloth and ten pounds worth of ice.

"You got sick?" Luke asked.  I nodded my head.

"It was pretty gross," I admitted.  Luke looked over to Calum who nodded his head.  I looked at all of the supplies.  "Guys, I might have a small concussion, I haven't lost a leg," I joked.  Luke and Ashton chuckled to each other.

"I've had a concussion before, they can be very serious," Calum said, handing me an ice pack.  I sighed and laid down on the beanbag.

"We're going out to get some lunch," Michael said.  "Calum, so you and Y/N want anything?" Ashton asked.  I shook my head.

"I don't really feel like eating," I said, patting my stomach.

"I'll get my usual," Calum said, reading the directions of the Tylenol tablets.  Michael, Ashton, and Luke got up and left the room.  Calum walked over and handed me a tablet and a glass of water.  "Take this," he said and grabbed the ice pack I put on the ground.  "Keep this on your head," he said.  I took the tablet and drank the rest of the water.

"Calm down," I said, taking the pack from his hands.  "Since when did you become such an expert on concussion treatment," I asked, placing the ice on the back of my head.

"I got hit in the head a few times when I played football in school," he said.  "So I know enough about them."  I whistled.

"Wow so hard core," I laughed.  He chuckled.

"Yeah they were pretty stupid reasons though," he replied.  I raised my hands.

"Even better," I smiled.  I got up from the beanbag chair and walked over to get my phone on the desk.

"Hey!" Calum said, and rushed over towards me.  "You can't walk around.  You're supposed to be resting."  I sighed.

"But it's BORING," I groaned.  I pouted my bottom lip at him.  "If you're going to be my nurse, you're not doing a very good job," I joked.  "You're supposed to comfort me, kiss my wounds, make me food," I said.  "Come on I would do it for you."  His mouth dropped.

"You're being so difficult!" He sighed, walking over to me.  He bent his head down and planted a soft kiss on my cheek, right above the fading bruise.  He stood straight again and smiled lightly.  "Is that better?" he asked.  I felt the blood rush to my face and my heart beat jump out at my chest.

"Umm, I was kidding about that part," I stuttered.  He chuckled.

"I know," he replied, heading towards the door.  "I'll find some movies," he said and closed the door behind him.  I brushed the sore part of my face where Calum's lips brushed against my skin.   My heart was beating fast and irregular.  Maybe that was my heart beating this morning.  I quickly brushed it off and sat back down.
