Part 19

"Last year, Chuck made it seem like we'd dated and spread rumors that were just awful," you explained. "I thought my reputation was ruined so I isolated myself from almost everybody. But eventually, things got better and I started to hang out with Betty and Kevin." Betty gave a sweet smile. 

"Wait, guys, look what I found," Ethel pointed to a page with names.

"What?!" Both Cheryl and Betty exclaimed at once.

"Polly's in here?!"

"Jason would never..."

You shined your flashlight on the page, your eyes followed Polly and Jason's names and you found your own with a 7 next to it. 

"Y/N why didn't you tell me about what happened to you?" Betty asked.

"Things got better," you shrugged, "Then Cheryl happened and it didn't seem much of a big deal."

"You left all this behind because of me?" Cheryl asked, surprised. She looked up at you with a confused look.

Your heart began to beat quickly and you tucked a flyaway hair behind your ear, your hand shaking.

"Y/N, this is serious! You should've told someone," Betty was totally the mom friend in this situation.

"Betty you're right, I should've. I- I shouldn't have gotten distracted by Cheryl. I bet a lot of this could've been stopped if it weren't for me..." you trailed off and started to take steps back, away from your friends. 

"Y/N wait! Don't leave," Cheryl followed you down the hallway and grabbed your shoulder. "Do you want to come to my place?" She offered.

You nodded.

"We need to talk about a lot of things." Cheryl finished and took your hand.

Your heart rate picked up even more after your mind analyzed Cheryl's words. You'd have to explain everything now, in detail.

Another school day passed and the entire football team was exposed for their little 'game.' Every girl in Riverdale High watched as Chuck and many other boys made their walk of shame out of school. Countless girls were lined up in the hallway to watch the boys leave where they took pictures, cameras flashing everywhere. 

Betty, Cheryl, Veronica, Ethel, and so many other girls, including you, sneered at Chuck with a subtle smirk as he passed. He couldn't hurt anyone else now. 

"I have a revenge plan. Meet me in the student lounge as soon as possible," you told Betty and Veronica. "Ethel, you should come too. We can take down Chuck once and for all.

You explained your entire plan to the three girls and all immediately agreed. Betty would talk Chuck up, Veronica would lead Chuck to Ethel's house with the pool, and you'd be waiting there for him. Everything was intact, all Betty had to do was go to Pop's and get Chuck to come. You were sure he'd say yes.
