- I arrive home and call out for my mom. My mom is like my best friend i tell her almost everything. "MOM I HAVE SOMETHING TO TELL YOU!" I hear her coming to the living room where i am. "What is it honey are you okay?" She says half worried half excited. "Jimin invited me, Hannah, and Taylor to go bowling this weekend with his friends!" I say jumping up and down. My mom looks at me and starts smiling and then gave me a big hug. "Im so happy for you! Just be careful i know Jimin is really nice but just watch out you are still young." Of course she has to give me this talk i say and sigh. "I just don't want my beautiful baby girl to get hurt" she says and pinches my cheek "YAH MOM stop that it's not a date or anything." I grab a snack and head to my room to watch YouTube and text my friends. I spend the rest of the day like this and then before i know it its 9:50 pm "Oh no i have to get ready for bed. How can i go to sleep im freaking out about Jimin." I say to myself thinking there is no one around to hear. "Who's Jimin?" I turn around at the speed of light its my older brother Jin. "Uhm no one just a friend." I say expecting him not to believe my words. "Sure he is isn't he the boy you've been freaking out over for 5 years?" I look down. I have a great relationship with my brother Jin but this is awkward and personal. "Y-yea.. whats the big deal just go i have to sleep." I push him out and he gives me a pout. "Ugh fine i won't bother you....today" *windshield wiper laugh* Ugh why does his laugh sound so weird. I go get ready for bed and sleep.
------ the next morning
"YAY today is friday" i say to Hannah while waiting for class to start. "But remember we are sitting with Jimin and his friends today." She says with a smirk. I almost flip out of my chair "HOW DID I FORG- oop how did i forget??" Hannah just laughs at me and class starts..
---- lunch time
Im walking to lunch with Hannah and Taylor. Im honestly so nervous what is gonna happen? Is this gonna ruin our chances of being friends? Ugh i need to stop stressing. We arrive at Jimin's table. I keep my eyes down and i stay quiet while Hannah and Taylor are carrying conversation like its nothing. "Hey are you okay?" I look up and its- Taehyung? "Yah Taehyung stop you're scaring her she only likes Jimin." Jungkook says and pulls Taehyung back to his seat. "Oh- i am so sorry no i was um just thinking about something." I apologize like my life depends on it which it does. They nod and continue conversation with my friends obviously more interested in them than me. I look around and Jimin isn't here?? "Where did Jimin go?" Dang when did i get so brave. "Oh he went to the bathroom don't worry little lamb he'll be right back" Taehyung says with a boxy smile.
Did he just- call me- little lamb?? What the heck just happened. Jimin was right his friends are weird.
"Heyy i am back what did i miss?" Oh- Jimin is back thank goodness. "Oh nothing but your girl is really quiet she is like a lost baby its actually really cute" a boy i don't know says. "Hoseok, dont say that she's just shy okay not everyone is hyperactive like you." Wait- did Jimin just stand up for me? Was what Hoseok or whatever his name is said supposed to be mean? I am so confused. "Are you okay?" I snap out of my thoughts to Jimin wanting my attention. "Oh yea im just tired that's all." Jimin looks really worried that his friends might be annoying me. Why does it matter to him so much? "Do you want to go to the library and talk? it seems like you don't like it here around a lot of people." I look up at him.
Crap i just ruined lunch for Jimin me being the stupid shy girl i am can't even sit and be normal around his friends. They must think im so weird.
Jimin waves his hand infront of my fave "Hellloo do you want to go to the library?" I come back to reality "U-um no its fine i dont want to ruin lunch for you im fine." Jimin looks like he doesn't believe me. "No, you're not fine." I look at him shocked
What- what just happened? Does he really care? Why is he being so forceful? Does he not like it here either?
"Im sorry, i just- i know you dont feel comfortable and honestly i don't really wanna be somewhere loud right now either." He holds his hand out for me to take. "Okay i-i'll come with you." He smiles and we head to the library.
Oh Park Jimin what are you doing to me? Are you leading me to believe there's something there when there's really nothing? Is this just a big joke or a dare? Why would someone like him want to spend time with me.
Many girls give me dirty looks as Jimin drags me along by the hand. They probably think im not good enough for him. They are right. Im not good enough for Park Jimin. We make it to the library and we just talk- or he actually talks and i listen. It's nice to hear about his life. He tells me about his friends Taehyung, Jungkook, Yoongi, Hoseok, Namjoon, and Jin. Yes, Jin is my brother i am also shocked Jin graduated last year but they still hang out. I knew Jin hung out with Namjoon and Yoongi but i didn't know they were all friends. I'm so going to yell at Jin for not telling me. How. Rude.
