Wolf Love

Chapter 2

It's been a couple of days. They didn't see me when I heard them. We haven't been followed thank goodness. Everything was fine. I was getting to know him. I still didn't know his name, however. I know it seems weird, but it was fine at the time.

We just finished packing when we heard a roar. I was scarred, and so was the boy. He said run, so we did.

We ran for our lives. I was surprised when I realized that I was faster than the boy. I then heard trees falling behind us. I stupidly looked back. Then I tripped.

"Help!" I shouted.

No one was there. The boy was too far ahead. Then the sound of falling trees stopped. I turned around and a horrible creature was standing right in front of me. I didn't know what to do. All I did was stare at the creature. He stared back. That was all we did for what seemed like forever. Then he finally spoke.

"Well, well. It seems like you came back. You probably don't remember me. I used to be your lover until you cursed me. You betrayed me. Cursed me to this horrid state when you decided not to love me anymore. Well it seems like you will get the same treatment," said the creature.

Then the strange boy came out of nowhere. He brought a sword out.

"She doesn't love you. Darn it she doesn't even remember you. So why curse her if she doesn't know the whole story?" He said.

I was thinking thanks you just set me to my death instead. I had the instinct to run. However I had the instinct to get the sword from the boy. I couldn't know what to do. Instead I came up with an idea.

"Hey! Why do you want to attack him when you can attack me?" I said.

"You don't even remember me," he said.

"Of course I do, Adrian," I said.

Then he looked at me with fear. And he attacked.
