Chapter 21

I awoke with Ash shaking me. I opened my eyes as I saw both Ash and....... Ben!!!!!

"Oh my gosh, Ben. You're alive!!" I yelled and hugged him immediately.

"What are you talking about?" He said.

I let go as I remembered what the fairy said. They don't remember anything. I messed with time. Things were different. I had a lot of explaining to do. They both looked at me like I was insane. Then again I probably was. I started to explain what happened before everything, and they looked at me like I had completely lost my mind. I had no way to prove myself. I just had to wait for what they had to say.

"Alright you need to go home. You need to go back to the village and have a normal life. Yes everyone remembers that you aren't really from there, but this has clearly screwed you up," Ben said.

"Don't tell her what to do. She can decide for herself. She either dreamt it, or it actually happened. She will decide on what she wants either way. However, I believe her," said Ash.

"Of course you believe her. The main reason is because I died, right? That way you would have her," Ben said with frustration in his voice.

"This has nothing to do whether you die or not! I believe her because she has never once lied to me,"Ash said with an equal amount of frustration, maybe a little bit more.

As they were arguing I snuck away. I was a good ways away where I could no longer hear them yelling at each other. I called Adrian.

"You called?" He said with a smug look on is face.

"Yea. I have to ask you something-" I started.

"Yes you should dump those losers and come be with me," he said.

"Not that, now listen," I said. He looked annoyed. "Do you remember anything that happened?"

"You mean you dumping me to go with Ash. Then completely leaving me and leaving yourself under a different identity. After that, falling in love with another person and then regaining your memory and not giving a second thought about getting back together with me. Yes I remember," he asked, clearly agitated.

"Okay so you don't. Now that I think about it, why do you love me?" I asked with complete curiosity.

"Why, I'm hurt you even have to ask. Unlike those fools over there, I don't care about the outside, or your reputation. I know who you are. You are lovable, funny, smart, sarcastic, kind, loving, and amazing. I don't love you for your looks, even though you are fairly good looking. I love you for who you are on the inside," he said, with no hesitation.

Then I walked away, about to cry. Did I make a mistake by leaving Adrian? I don't even know anymore. I walked back to camp. The boys were still arguing.

"WHY DO YOU LOVE HER?" Ash said.

"It is very simple. She and I are a good match we always have been. We are alike in so many ways," Ben said. So he likes me for reputation. "Why do you like her?"

"Well not for your reasons. She has been there all my life, even while she was with Adrian. I at first completely hated her, but in time I started to like her. She is kind, compassionate, smart, lovable, funny, sarcastic, and optimistic. She is the most beautiful person in the world to me. I don't care about what other people think. In fact, everyone wanted us to not get together, especially Adrian. We didn't care," He said.

I started crying and walked out of my hiding spot. I just stood there crying. They both looked at me and they both look shocked. I went to Ash, and hugged him. I cried in his shoulder. Ben tried to hug me. I told him to stop and stay where he was.

"Ben I suggest you go home, or at least go find a home. You need to go. And you better watch out because if Adrian comes after you, I am not going to stop him," I said, and he left.
