I wanted to run to him. I wanted to hug him. I wanted to comfort him. I wanted to let him know it would be alright. However, he's not a part of my life anymore. I had to go before he figures out who I am.

"Alright well, I hope you find her and tell her. I'm gonna go," I said then started walking. He said something before I could take two steps.

"Let me come with you. It's a dangerous forest out there," he said with an enthusiastic smile.

"No, I'm good. I have to go," I said as it started to snow. I didn't realize I had been gone that long. If I'm able to get far enough away, I can turn into a wolf and be warm.

I walked away again, but he somehow got close to me and grabbed my arm. I drop kicked him then kicked his stomach, knocking the breath out of him. He looked utterly shocked. I took this as my chance to get away, so I ran. Then I felt guilty. I need to find him somewhere to live. I can't leave him there like that.

When I came back, he was waiting for me.

"I knew you would change your mind," he said with a smirk on his face.

"Only because I felt guilty leaving you here with nowhere to go and it's  starting to rain. I know where a cave is follow me," I said and led him to the cave.

He followed willingly. I knew there was a town from further travels without Ben. If we could head out at sunrise, we could make it there by sunrise the next morning.

We got to the cave and he looked upset. I knew why, though. This is where it all began. This is the cave that I regained my memory from. This is his worst nightmare. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. It meant different things for the both of us. I pretended to not notice his sad glance at the cave and went in.

"Hey, are you coming?" I asked.

He nodded his head. He took a step then stopped. I looked at him questioningly.

"I'm gonna go get fire wood. The rain is still light there should be some dry wood around here someplace," he said.

"Alright. I'll get some food while you do that," I said. I went deep into the cave. I came back out with nothing but my throwing knives. I looked around. Then I summoned a little but of my wolf sense of smell. I could tell he went far. I transformed into a wolf. As soon as I did, all of my senses heightened. I smelled wildlife, and I smiled because love that smell. I smelled pine, oak, and a...........rabbit. I ran towards the smell. When I caught the rabbit, I smelled another one. I'm surprised they weren't hibernating yet. I caught that one.

I transformed human and went back to camp. I readied the food. While I did that, Ben came back with some wood for the fire. He set it down outside of the cave, and I gave him another questioning look.

"Do you think we would sleep out here when we have a cave to shelter us from this weather?" I said.

He grunted and brought the wood inside. I stabbed a spot in each of the rabbits making it look like I had made the shot there. When it was all ready I brought them in the cave. The fire was ready and I put them over the fire to cook. We ate in silence. Then, we went to sleep. I started having a dream. I soon figured out it was a nightmare.........

~In the dream/nightmare~

It was sunrise and I sat up. I felt something strange and looked down.'Oh goodness,' I thought to myself as I looked down and saw I was pregnant again. Then I looked around and recognized where I was immediately. This was the house that Adrian and I lived in in the alternate world. Then the dream took over. It played out as it should have that day. I went to the dining room and sat down to wait for my husband. Then he came in. Adrian. He was ready for the day. I, however, was still in my pajamas. We kissed and I wanted to kill myself right then and there.

"You're eight months today," Adrian said as he touched my stomach.

"I know and I can't wait to get this child out of me," I said as I sat down.

We ate quietly. When we got done, he went to go hunt as I got ready for the day.

At midday, he came back with two men tied up and with sacks over their heads. I then saw he was beaten up really badly. He was also limping. I went to him and checked him after asking if he was alright.

"I'm fine. These two men jumped me after they jumped my men one by one. It's a shame that I have to put them to death. They're great fighters," he said as he took off the sacks.

To my horror, it was Ben and Ash. I ran into them that day as I was running away. I stopped them from getting executed. I wonder why they helped him then. Knowing Adrian, he probably threatened them. I went up to them. They were really close together, so I slapped both of them at the same time. It felt as if I was slapping myself as I hit Ash like that. His face was already swelling up from my hand. I knew it would bruise. I saw blood coming out of his nose. I wanted to cry so badly. When he looked me in the eyes, I wanted to stab myself. The look of passionate hate was unbearable.

"Next time complete the job and run far away. That way you wouldn't have your families and whole village burned," I said. I looked at the guards behind me and gave them a nod.

Ash and Ben started to panic, get away from the guards, do something, but it was no use. Then Ash broke free. He came for me and started to choke me. Adrian immediately got him off me. Then he went to his knees and cried. I wanted to say I'm sorry, but something else entirely came out of my mouth.

"They will be hung before sun down," I said, trying to catch my breath.

They were taken to the dungeon. I went to my room and did absolutely nothing. I looked out my window, then I went to my balcony. There was smoke. The village was up in flames. I told the guards to bring me the one that choked me. He was up in a few minutes.

"You see that smoke?" I said. I went up to his ear and whispered,"that's your village."

He went down on his knees and broke down. I smiled. I wanted to slit my throat for hurting him. I wanted to make it painful. Then it was time for his execution.

We went out there. Ben was hung first. I wanted Ash to live a little longer for regret. I wanted him to go last, so every man from his village that survived went before him. He saw his father and had a single tear go down his face. It was almost midnight before he was hung. He went up to the gallows. The rope was around his neck and the executioner cut the rope.
