I awoke with a jerk. Ben was already awake, for I was screaming.

"What happened?" He asked.

"Haven't you ever heard of a nightmare before?" I said with a lot of attitude in my voice and he dropped the conversation immediately.

"You said a name, Ash. Do I know you?" He asked.

Crap. I don't know what to do, so I made up something real fast.

"Yea, I met him with some other girl a couple years back. They were helping me with something. It turned out Ash was my brother. He was kidnapped when everyone in our family was asleep. Never heard from him since. When I last saw him, he went off to find that other girl, Elizabeth I think it was. She went missing a couple years ago, and I haven't heard of them since. I am trying to find them," I said. He looked utterly disappointed as I explained everything. He was hoping I would say I was Elizabeth, but I couldn't tell him.

"Well I can never see them again, so I'll just stay in the next town you drop me off at. I know you can handle yourself, and I know you will be safe. I assume you can transform too?" He asked.

"Yes I can, and the town isn't that far away. Just a couple hours. You wanna go ahead and head out?" I asked.

"Yea I guess. I'll pack up. It won't take long," he said.

I felt bad. I knew I was going to pick Ash a couple of weeks before they had that fight. If I was to be totally honest with myself, I knew from the start that I was going to pick Ash. I was the one being selfish, not him. However, I am going to be selfless right now and not tell him it's me.

The couple of hours it took to get to the village. We were deadly silent. None of us dared to speak. I didn't because he looked like he was going to break down, but I have no clue why he wouldn't.

We arrived at the village at sunrise. I left him at a tavern, and went on my way to find Ash again. I transformed and started to sprint. I loved being able to turn into a wolf again. I never wanted to stop. Then I caught a whiff of a horrid, familiar smell. It was Adrian. He was close, but I kept running. He eventually caught up with me. He knew my scent anywhere, for that is how he found me. I stopped, and so did he. He transformed into himself, but I stayed as a wolf.

"Back to yourself now are you?" He asked. "It took a long time to find you. Only because I was smelling the wrong scent."

I cocked my head to the side and acted as if I couldn't understand him. He saw right through my act. I then took off following my scent until I found Ash's again. I followed it. It was getting stronger, so I was getting closer. I howled, knowing they could hear me. It didn't take long for Ash to find me. I smelled more scents behind him. Scents I haven't smelled in a long time. The scents of my family. I immediately transformed, and as did they. We had a very short reunion until I had to ruined it.

"I'm happy to see you, but Adrian is right behind me," I said.

As if on cue, Adrian came out. He transformed. What was strange was, he was himself. Not the big scary monster I had seen so much. He was like he was before he had gotten heartbroken, by me. Ash looked confused as well.

"Thank you Adrian that will be enough," said the leader of the pack.
