It was morning and Ben wasn't near camp. I wasn't all that worried because he knew how to defend himself if something had happened. I went to see Ash, and I saw him sleeping. When I looked closer I saw blood on him. Then I saw Ben sleeping not too far away with his throat slit. They both had the same wound. I knew I could only save one of them. I saw Adrian sitting there waiting for something when I realized he wasn't waiting because he was laughing. It was because I could only heal one of them.

"And what would you be laughing at?" I asked him, sarcasm clear in my voice.

"You know, my love, your sarcasm excites me," he said, there was a fire in his eyes.

"I'm not your love, so do not call me that again," I said with so much frustration in my voice even he looked shocked.

"I'll call you want I want," then he got close to my ear. "My love."

I was about to slap him, but he grabbed my hand.

"You are wasting time, my love. Now is your time to choose. You have quite a choice to make. Which one lives and which one dies."

Then he left. I thought they were both dead until I saw their chests moving. I knew of a healing river that wasn't too far away. I woke them up and made sure that they knew what was going on. I got an empty pouch for the water. I had to transform because I could get there faster. I waited for them to tell me they would be fine. When they did, I transformed and ran to the river. I knew this journey would take a while, and I trusted them to take care of themselves. I just needed to trust myself in doing what I need to.

I got tired after a few hours of nonstop running, so I took a little break. Then I smelled the foul scent of Adrian. I started running again, and I knew he was following me. I finally reached the river a few hours later, and I filled the pouch up with the water.

"You know that I won't let you do that, Lizzy," he said.

"And you have no choice but to let me because you love me so much, and you don't want to hurt me," I said.

When he tried to attack me, I dodged him and ran back. Adrian was close behind me, but I was always faster than him. Since I was being chased, I got to camp quicker.

"Put it on your wounds and it will heal. But don't drink it because if you do it will kill you," I told them.

Then Adrian finally caught up. He, of course, was furious and tried to attack me, and yet again I dodged him. Then I saw him smile and he ran. I was confused, but when I turned around I understood. I transformed back human and went to Ash. The sun wasn't down yet so I could still heal him. I started, but he interrupted me.

"No. Please don't," he said.

"I don't understand," I looked at Ben. "WHAT HAPPENED?!?!"

"There was a hole in the pouch. The amount could only save one of us. He put it on me before I could say anything," he started crying.

Then Ash went unconscious and I panicked. I started healing him. When he was healed I smiled, and I went unconscious after.
