Hoseok walked outside to join Taehyung by the porch. As soon as the older boy walked out, Taehyung covered his ears in anger. "Go away, Hoseok."
"No." Hoseok refused and sat next to Taehyung. "Are you really going to keep Jimin here if he doesn't want to?" Hoseok asked as Taehyung let out a sigh.
"I'll never see him again and I know he won't ever come back to perform with us ever. How can I lose one of my best friends to a man that needs to be praised but... No one knows much about him?" Taehyung asked as Hoseok dropped his arm around Taehyung.
"He's the King.. Jeon Jungkook won't rape him or anything!" Hoseok laughed. "The King would never do such a thing. He's a humble man, why on earth would you think Jimin will get hurt or never come back?" Hoseok asked as Taehyung looked down at the ground.
"We know nothing of the King... Jungkook is just closed off and silent."
"Maybe he just wants to have someone close and someone to talk to, Imagine if you were the King and you had no one... and soon, you come across this someone that you really want to be friends with... Yet, you can't reach them at all because they are very far, what will you do?"
"Screw this.. I just don't want to give up one of my best performers." Taehyung stated as he looked away.
"Well, you'll have to end up going to King Jungkook eventually...." Hoseok claimed as he took out the letter and handed it to Taehyung. "You know how the rule is, when the King asks for something... It has to happen."
"Good, then I can go and tell him I will not accept and I will still keep Jimin here." Taehyung replied. "I'm just not ready to let Jimin go from the contract.."
"Maybe... I can go with you to the king tomorrow..." Hoseok said as he slowly reached to hold Taehyung's hand. "I can atleast be there but I know I can't be in the meeting with you.." Hoseok replied as he finally held Taehyung's hand wanting to intertwine with his. At times, Hoseok would wonder how it feels just to get closer to the leader... To know more of him and start something new, so they will no longer be friends. More closer than that.
Taehyung looked down to see Hoseok holding his hand tightly. "Hoseok..." Taehyung whispered. "What are you trying to do? Are you trying to make me accept?"
"No... I was just.. I just.. wanted to hold your hand. Just to see how it felt." Hoseok claimed, letting out a sigh.
Taehyung took a moment to think. "I will take you with me tomorrow to confront Jeon Jungkook. But, you'll just be going as my best friend." Taehyung said as he stood up letting go of Hoseok's hand. "I hate to break your heart, Hope... If you loved me.. Just know that I am too busy to focus on a relationship at the moment, and you are too." Taehyung told Hoseok. "Just know that I love you, but not in that way."
"Taehyung... I don't care about that... M-maybe you need time! Soon we can be together if you want to! I'll wait because I wou-"
"Hoseok... I love you.. But I don't think we mean it in the same way." Taehyung walked up to Hoseok and cupped his face. "It's only buisness for me... Buisness and friends." Taehyung assured as Hoseok nodded.
"I understand... I'll get over these, I promise.." Hoseok said as all he could do to make the pain go away was just smile like he always does.
"There's my beautiful smile~" Taehyung cooed and patted Hoseok's shoulder. "Let's not be late tomorrow... Alright?"
"Yes, of course." Hoseok responded. Atleast he was able to lighten up the mood before Taehyung can return to the house and confront Jimin.
Jimin was in his room thinking in the dark. All he thought about was what will the King say if he never see's Jimin again? "I guess this was the only day I can see him.. Maybe the last.." Jimin let out a breath as he layed back on the bed. "Or.. One day he will come and show up to one of the acts and see me.." Jimin then let out a chuckle. "Oh, who am I to think about that?"
Taehyung then walked into the room so freely as Jimin stopped laughing at his own thoughts of actually talking to the King like he was close to him.
Jimin blankly exchanged stares with Taehyung waiting for him to say something. Then, Taehyung finally spoke up and held out the letter. "I will go to Jungkook and talk to him... We'll see what we can do." Taehyung then looked at the page. "Is this what you really want?"
"Yes.." Jimin replied as Taehyung sighed.
"I know you want to see the King.. I know you want to make him smile and feel happy So, he wouldn't feel alone. But I want you to be here too.. You have a special place here in the circus... But I know this is what you want."
"You will actually do that for me?" Jimin asked as Taehyung nodded.
"Even if I'm against it... I guess this is something that makes you happy." Taehyung said as he finally smiled at Jimin.
What Taehyung had in mind was to hopefully get to know more of Jungkook in order to end his contract with Jimin. He wanted to make sure that Jungkook was the type of King everyone said he was. Humble and kind. But Taehyung still held his thoughts on how Jungkook was still a bit shady since he was closed off and barely went out to talk to his people or handle their issues. It was like caring for a King who was never there.
