Jimin was done setting his things away as Jungkook was laying on Jimin's bed. Jimin still had the thought of Adviser Yang in his head.. He knew the Adviser didn't like him. Jimin even heard the King and the Adviser argue down the hall... He heard enough to know that he didn't feel welcomed by the old Adviser and just felt welcomed by the King himself.
Jimin knew he only had to pay attention to Jungkook's words but how can he when the man that is told to guide Jungkook, doesn't even like him? Jimin sighed and walked out into the prince's balcony all by himself as the King still layed on Jimin's bed. He still remembered sleeping on this bed when he still was a Prince. It was good memories that came running back to him.
"Jimin?" Jungkook noticed how silent Jimin got so he then got up and walked outside along with Jimin to talk to him.
Jimin heard the King approaching and looked back at him. "Aren't you supposed to be getting some rest, My King?" Jimin asked as Jungkook tilted his head.
"Aren't you hungry? Don't you want dinner before rest?" Jungkook asked but Jimin shook his head.
"I'm not hungry anymore..." Jimin said looking up at the sky.
"We can go eat together if you like.. It'll be nice. We can talk over a meal together!" Jungkook insisted but Jimin just shook his head.
"I don't eat before getting to bed.." Jimin replied denying the King's request.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked but Jimin had to lie.
"Just feeling homesick... It'll go away soon, My King.. I know it.." Jimin added with a smile. He actually felt bad inside... Jimin felt bad that Adviser Yang saw him as a circus freak and didn't want Jimin to be treated well at all! but King Jungkook wanted to give Jimin these things for some unknown reason.
"Homesick..." Jungkook thought as he looked at how Jimin felt a bit down... There was no way he felt homesick. "Jimin, if I give you something... Will you feel better?" Jungkook asked as Jimin looked at the king in confusion.
"M-my King... Please don't give me anything from now on... I'm not good enough to receive such things." Jimin said still feeling a bit upset. He heard the part of Adviser Yang telling Jungkook not to give Jimin good things like this and he didn't want Jungkook to get in trouble.
"Why are you feeling so upset right now? You were happy and now you feel bad.. Today is your first day you'll stay here and all I want is to make you feel better." Jungkook said as he held up a finger. "I'll be right back." Jungkook said as he walked out of the balcony and left the room.
Jimin watched the King leave the room in silence while he looked at the ground feeling guilty. "Jungkook will get in trouble because of me..." Jimin whispered. So far his first day at the castle wasn't the best. He knew Adviser Yang didn't want him around at all!
Jimin waited for Jungkook to come back and soon, he did. The young King came back with a red silk blanket, neatly folded on his arms. Jungkook made his way to Jimin and handed it over to the older boy.
"Here... It's an expensive red silk blanket. It's not part of the family tradition, it's just a nice blanket you can use to hug close when you feel homesick. It's really soft." Jungkook stated as Jimin accepted the blanket.
"This is too expensive... Are you sure you want to give this to me? To a person like me?" Jimin asked as Jungkook placed his hands on his hips.
"Jimin, when I look at you... All I see is a normal boy. Nothing else! You deserve this for making me smile when you performed. Take it as a welcome gift or even a thank you gift. I just want you to feel better." Jungkook said as Jimin smiled at Jungkook.
"Thank you, My King..." I apreciate it. You're so kind... Thank you again." Jimin let out a happy giggle at the nice blanket he was given.
"Anytime. I just want you to feel happy on your first day here. I hope this made your day." Jungkook stated as Jimin nodded. Jimin wanted to hug the King but knew he couldn't step too close to him since he was the King and no one was allowed to hug him close. Only handshakes were allowed.
"You should be getting to sleep now, My King... You can't mess up your beauty sleep!" Jimin insisted as Jungkook agreed.
"Sleep is important... But I just want to look up at the stars right now..." Jungkook said as he looked up at the sky. "I do have a window in my room but I think the view is way better from here, wouldn't you say so too?" Jungkook asked as Jimin nodded, unfolding the blanket and wrapping himself around it while he stargazed with Jungkook.
"Do you... Do this often with your workers?" Jimin asked as Jungkook shook his head.
"I choose to be alone most of the time... So I never have a moment like this with them. With you? I'm actually enjoying myself." Jungkook replied noticing Jimin was starting to smile.
"Your first days here won't be easy..." Jungkook advised Jimin. "Not with Adviser Yang constantly checking up on me when we both are supposed to be getting to know eachother."
"I knew he looked angry when he walked in here..." Jimin explained. "Is he always bothering you like that?" Jimin questioned as Jungkook let out a chuckle.
"Always is." Jungkook added. "Since you are going to work for me soon, don't think I'll be this nice and caring king forever... I have my moments were I won't be so nice." Jungkook mentioned as Jimin thought of that. "I'll easily get fustrated so please don't cross the line..." Jungkook said.
Jimin was a bit confused on what the boundaries were. He still didn't know much of the King so this made it more difficult to avoid crossing over Jungkook's line.
"Do you understand, Jimin?"
Jimin nodded clutching the expensive, red, silk blanket close. "I understand, My King."
