Jimin was overwhelmed with fear.. He couldn't bear the thought that Jungkook was actually there! Jimin didn't really think Jungkook would actually show up. Now, Jimin wished he never jinxed it.

"Taehyung... I-I can't perform today." Jimin whispered as Taehyung grew confused. Didn't Jimin want to see Jungkook after all this time?

"What? What's wrong? Don't you want to see Jungkook? He came here for you!" Taehyung stated as Jimin looked at his Ringmaster in worry.

"I feel like something bad is going to happen if I go to him.." Jimin whispered as he refused to perform.

Taehyung looked at Jungkook and then at the worried older boy. "Okay, I won't force you." Taehyung stated as he had his fingers crossed behind his back secretly and went out to the center after the performers concluded their acts.

"Wow! Wasn't that a nice Act?! Let's get another round of applause for our bright performers! Now, many of you must have seen our very special guest, The King!" Taehyung announced as everyone looked at him excitingly as girls nearby screamed inside thier minds.

Jungkook smiled as he waved at everyone from his seat. As the show carried on, Jungkook was focusing on the curtains beyond the tent. He wanted to see Jimin...

"Why did he leave so quickly?" Jungkook wondered as he held the ring box in his hands. "I thought he wanted to see me..." Jungkook whispered as he kept paying attention to the curtains Jimin disappeared behind.

"And now... He's dances within his silent mind and creates such emotion. This comes to show that even in our darkest times, we must confront... Please welcome.... The Puppet dancer!" Taehyung exclaimed making a smile as the audience cheered to see the performance.

Meanwhile, Jimin's eyes widened by just hearing Taehyung call to him! He didn't even have time to apply his makeup because of how worried he was. Jimin didn't know what to do but borrow a white masquerade mask that covered his eyes and put on a show. He didn't care that the King was out there now... He would hate to have many people wait for him and waste their precious time...

Jimin stepped out as everyone cheered. The puppet then walked to the center as his partner was already high up on a platform above the center of the Circus stage. By there, he lowered the thin white ropes down as a few Mimes hooked Jimin up in his strings. Jimin tried his best not to get too distracted... He wanted to tell the Mimes not to hook him up.. But he couldn't get just bail out now.

As the lighting died down, there was a gentle piano song playing as Jimin began to slowly dance. This is what Jimin wanted to do.. He almost couldn't believe he was getting nervous! Jimin felt the King staring at him.. But he couldn't see anyone with the light and the mask limiting his vision.

      🎶Caught in a lie~🎶

The song was gentle and no upbeat parts were played, just the gentle echoes of the lyrics  and the piano playing throughout his performance. While Jimin was dancing, Jungkook was watching Jimin... Of course why wouldn't he? Jungkook felt a tear rolling down his eyes and payed attention to the story Jimin was telling by just dancing.... It was like Jungkook was the one to blame for Jimin's emotional moves.

Jimin can see the King even through the bright lights... and seeing Jungkook cry made Jimin tear up a little while he danced for the many people watching.

"My Jiminie..." Jungkook said in his head. It's been so long since the King has ever seen the older boy he loves, dance in front of his very own eyes. Jungkook dried his tears as he held the engagement ring box close watching the whole performance, without even looking away once!

Soon, Jimin closed in his choreography after a long while of dancing. Jimin had enough energy to last long of course. He was panting now to end off his final and dramatic turns.

When Jimin finished, he was out of breath and looked up at everyone to see smiles on their faces and loud cheers filled his ears in a good way... Even Jungkook's. Jimin took a bow as he walked to the back where the performers congratulated him for doing his performance. Even in his happiest time of the day, he still felt that slight fear of Jungkook walking in any minute to see him.

Jimin only feared Jungkook coming to him.. After all those rude words Jimin swore by, he felt ashamed and somehow embarrassed to see Jungkook approach him. As Jimin went to hide at the performer's tent where the performers all prepared for their acts, Jimin waited until Taehyung would show up and say it was time to wrap up the show. Which was a long time from now.

"Jimin? Why are you here?" Hoseok asked as he took a gulp out of a big bottle of water. Hoseok had yet to perform and was just stretching when he noticed Jimin run to the corner of the performer tent.

"The King is outside..." Jimin whispered as he looked at his best friend in the eyes.

"Why are you here? Go talk to him!" Hoseok encouraged Jimin to go and see the King but the Puppet shook his head repeatedly.

"I'm scared... I'm scared to see him after I told him I didn't want him... He might come to remind me of it-"

"Or tell you he loves you... Jimin." Hoseok then let out a chuckle as he looked at his best friend. "Stop avoiding him... He wants you.."

"How do you know that? What if he wants to use me again? Leaving him was the toughest but it got him to confess his feelings out of fear... Hoseok, I don't think I want to see him!" Jimin claimed. "T-too many flaws..."

Hoseok then looked up to smile as he gazed down at Jimin sitting on the floor. "Looks like you don't have a choice." Hoseok claimed as Jimin grew confused and looked to where his friend was staring... Suddenly, Jungkook was approaching the performer tent with his Guards as Jimin's eyes widened.

"H-Hoseok... H-help me!" Jimin whispered as he kept his eyes locked at Jungkook walking to the tent with such a determined face. His serious face was enough to send chills down Jimin's spine.

"Oh! I can hear the Ringmaster call my name! Good luck!" Hoseok stated as he left Jimin alone to deal with the King.

Jimin backed up against the corner of the tent as Jungkook finally walked into the tent. Most performers were outside joking around so Jimin was the only one there to see the King walk in and approach the Puppet. Jimin looked at the entrance and realized that all of the guards blocked the entry while the King finally turned his head to see Jimin against the corner of the Tent. Sitting down and hugging his knees close.

Jungkook stared at Jimin like he was falling in love again... This was something Jungkook missed doing. He made a smile and let a tear run as Jimin stood up from the corner and locked eyes with Jungkook.

"Hello... Your Majesty..." Jimin stated looking away as Jungkook was already in tears as he walked up to Jimin and gave the performer a tight hug. Letting out silent cries on Jimin's shoulder.

"I missed you, Park Jimin.... and I want to say that I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." Jungkook repeated in tears while Jimin was in Jungkook's arms.... slowly raising his hands up to hug Jungkook back. Holding the King in an embrace, silently without exchanging words just yet....

"Jeon Jungkook..." Jimin whispered as he still hugged the King close after so long.

Jungkook dried his tears as he closed his eyes on Jimin's shoulder while a relieved sigh escaped his mouth. "Do you still love me, Jiminie?"
