POV | Kylie

Oh my Lord. I'm flying. I look down to see Jane's nose bleeding. She slowly brings me on the ground.

I just look at her. She saved my life. So her power is telekenesis. Wow.

"Jane, thank you." I say. She nods in response.

We are now walking back to the cabin and I'm shocked as hell.

"Kylie, please don't tell about me to anybody." She said to me in a small voice.

I stop in my tracks, face her and say, "I promise." She gives me a big hug and starts crying on my shoulder. Her long curly hair tickles my nose.

"Jane, what happened?" I ask, looking at her face. "You almost died Kylie. I almost lost my only best friend." She says in between sniffles.

Awww. "Jane, I'm here now. And it's because of you. You saved my life." I look at a distance to find Hopper's truck enter the woods. Oh, Shit.

"Jane, we have to run. Hopper is coming." I say pointing to his truck. We both run into the house to almost miss Hopper. And we both are panting.

After a few seconds we hear the secret knock. Jane opens the door and Hopper steps in. "Hey kid, why are you panting?" He asks in his usual monotone gruff voice.

We look at eachother and I end up saying, "We were checking who could hold their breath the longest." I say.

"Hmm, okay kid. I am going out with Joyce today. You have to stay at her house." He says to her.

"Dad, can Kylie come?" She asks.

What? No. No. No. That's Will's house. I don't want to see him. I don't even look that pretty and presentable now. My pant is all muddy and my hair is a mess.

"Yeah sure. Kylie is already friends with Will and I don't think Joyce will have a problem." He says.

I glare at Jane and she just smirks at me.

POV | Michael

I am sitting inside the fort that I had made for El 2 years ago. I lie down inside the fort with my walkie-talkie in my hand, and suddenly I hear radio static.

"Hey, this is Lucas. Over."

I press the speak button and ask, "What is it Lucas? Over."

"Will's called us over to his house. Over."

"What? Why? Over."

"Apparently his mom's going out and he says we can hangout at his place. Over."

"I don't want to come. Over."

"He told me to tell you that there is a surprise for you. And also said that make sure Mike comes. Over."

"Meet you outside in 10. Over." I say turning it off.

What surprise? Ugh.

I walk upstairs and get out of the door saying goodbye to Mom.

As I'm about to ride away, Mom comes out of the door and screams at me, "Michael be careful! And I want you home by 9."

I am riding over to Will's house and Lucas joins me. "Hey Mike." He says.
