Chapter Fifty-One
Ashton
I winced slightly as the boy smacked my ear. Seriously, these dudes had zero sense of humor. Like zero. None.
Okay, I was officially sick of it. Seriously, the whole, "Oh, I'm threatening you by grabbing your neck, which by the way I can barely reach because you're so tall." Alright, he didn't say all of that, but-- you know, really, he said none of that. But you understand the gist of it. I was sick of being threatened-- or at least being tried to be threatened.
Rolling my eyes, I muttered, "That's it," And gripped the hand on my neck tightly, keeping them from squeezing.
Pulling them apart with all of my strength, I barely managed to get them away from my neck when I let go. And immediately followed through with a punch to his now-injured jaw.
Yup. That's how I roll.I stepped back towards Kyla and Terran, crossing my arms and facing the boys, "Yeah, I don't really think that's the best way to either make a good first impression or make friends, really."
The boy who had gotten injured by me sent me a death glare from where he had staggered backwards after being hit. I shrugged it off. Tons of people have wanted me dead. They just didn't understand my humor. I guess this guy didn't either.
"So, you guys want to be the top whatever?" I clarified, enjoying being free to make sarcastic comments and remarks again without being rewarded with a knee in the back or something.
I could see the group fume angrily as they tried to decide what to do."Look, anyway, I think it's time for you guys to leave," I smiled, and I loved that they clearly got more irritated. Ah, irritating people. It's my thing.
"Ashton..." I heard Terran murmur behind me, warning me not to do anything stupid. Which, really was unnecessary. I never did stupid things. I did smart, necessary things!
"So," I drawled, "You guys going to leave? Or try to fight us or something?"
The boys muttered something to each other, and the boy whom I had injured straightened up, stepping towards us, he opened his mouth to say something. And I was fully prepared to sock him out again.
Ohhh Ashton you never get old, mah boy 😂
