Chapter Four
Ashton
Blast it. I was just trying to have a conversation for goodness sakes. Terran tried to stop me from doing that, and now look where we are. Terran being restrained by a soldier and me doing the opposite of what Terran wanted. Argh.
"Don't try to run or your friend here gets blown." The soldier threatened, raising a gun to point at Terran's head.
"I wasn't running in the first place." I pointed out.
Terran groaned in annoyance, "Just. Shut. Up."
Well, he isn't my boss, so I ignored him and focused on the soldier, who continued talking, "So you weren't." He conceded, although his tone made it clear that he thought he was on top of things. Which he was.
"So, I didn't run, so you can release him." I smiled, trying to act like everything was fine.
"Not yet. Get over to the trucks." He ordered.
Inwardly groaning, I had to comply unless I wanted my best friend in multiple pieces. Yeah, that's pretty undesirable, so I walked over to the truck where the apparent leader was.
"Now can you release him?" I turned to look at the guard, who still held the gun pointed at Terran's head.
The guard waited a moment before I felt a new gun being pressed into my temple. And then the guard released Terran.
"Leave," He ordered Terran.
I mentally sighed. What are the odds of Terran actually doing that? Well, I'm guessing that they're slim.
Oh boy... things are not looking good for these boys >:) Hehehe, but don't worry! The story is just getting started. Thanks for reading and don't forget to like, comment, or follow!
