When Coasts Collide (Hayes Grier)

Chapter 6

I think I'm going crazy. I swear I think I am. All morning all I could think about was Hayes Grier. Im so distracted by the thought of him that I'm not even listening to the english teacher. And english is my favorite subject. So thats saying something.

Last night When I went home much against my good judgement, I looked up more about Magcon. There were 10 members , Nash Greir, Cameron Dallas, Taylor Caniff, Matt Espinosa, Jack Gilinsky, Jack Johnson, Shawn Mendes, Aaron Carpenter, Carter Reynolds and of course the one and only Hayes Grier. They broke up about two years ago because they decided they needed a break but I don't believe that.

I have to admit though their vines are pretty funny. But of course Taylor is defiantly the best. He's so funny I just cant.

"Ms.Banks is there something funny about Shakespeare?" The teacher suddenly asked me pulling me out of my thoughts.

I looked around and saw that everybody was staring at me waiting for a answer.

"What no sir I'm sorry" I said shocked. I must have been giggling at my own thoughts and a little to loudly at that.

" Well Ms.Banks you better get your sorry self to the detention room" he said calmly while pointing to the door.

Is he kidding me I never gotten detention before in my four years at Oceanview!

" im not kidding you and maybe its time for a change now up and out" he said again.

Oh god I said that out loud didn't I? I asked myself while getting out of my seat.

As I walked towards the door I saw Tiff looking at me out of the corner of my eye.But instead if looking shocked like the rest of the class, she looked proud. Like what I just was something she thinks is something she thinks is going to increase attention for us. ha as if.

As I walked down the hallway to the detention room I couldn't help but feel nervous.

Im a good girl, I've never gotten detention in my life. Especially not on the second day of school. i stood outside the door breathing heavily. I don't want to go in, I don't want to go in.... I repeated to myself as I stood outside.

As I pushed the door open the first thing I saw was the teacher... sleeping!

I sighed in relief but took detention slip to fill out anyway.

"Hey aren't you the girl that always shadows Audrey and that girl Tiffany?" I heard someone ask from behind me.

I turned around slowly like in the movies when the character is scared about what they are about to see. I felt like laughing at the thought but I was to anxious to see who actually recognized me so I didn't.

When I turned I saw none other than Tyler Woods and his little posse sitting in the back of the classroom. Usually it shouldn't have surprised me because Tyler was not only the football captain but he was also Oceanview High's resident bad-boy. Stereotypical I know but he lives up to the expectations so he got that name.

The only thing that did surprise me was the person sitting with them in the far right corner. It was none other than the person that was the reason for me getting detention.

When our eyes locked I immediately looked away blushing. I mean who wouldn't be embarrassed when your in a room with the guy who saved your life twice and you ran away both times?

"Yea thats me, I'm Rose by the way" I said quietly while sitting down. I don't know why I introduced myself it's not like they actually cared.

" Rose, so thats your name. See Hayes we did find out your mystery girl's name after all!" Tyler said smirking.
