"Lucas! Baby, hurry up the march starts in an hour and I want to get something to eat before." Maya yelled to her fiancé who was still trying to find his shirt so he could match with Maya.
"Hang on bebe! I'm just now finding my shirt"
After about 2 minutes Lucas came down stairs wearing the same "Future Is Female" t-shirt as Maya, carrying their signs as well.
"We look pretty good if I do say so myself" Maya said with a proud smile on her face.
"Well you look good all the time but I have to admit we do look pretty good" Lucas replied placing his lips on Maya's.
They let go of the kiss and walked out of their apartment hand in hand to go get some food before the Women's March began.
They both decided on Zaxby's. As the couple walked into the restaurant Lucas told Maya he had to use the restroom, she nodded as she went up in line to order their food.
As she was waiting a guy came up next to her to refill his drink, he looked over at Maya's top and let out a scoff.
"Future Is Female my ass"
"Excuse me?" Maya replied.
"All this hype of how women are the future is honestly dumb in my opinion like c'mon! It's not that serious but then again I'm not surprised about you all making this a big deal, that's all you bitches do, over exaggerate!"
Maya's eyes widen at what he just called her.
All her attention being on this situation she hadn't noticed Lucas had already came out of the restroom and was standing behind the guy.
"Did you just call me a bitch?" Maya asked taking a step closer to him with the most intimidating look on her face.
"I'm sorry did I st-st-stutter?" He retorted.

Maya's hand was stinging as she looked down at the boy who was holding his red cheek. She could see Lucas' eyes widen in the corner of her eye. She looked back down and bent down to his level.
"See, this is the problem with you little uneducated boys these days! You should know by now that that's no way to talk to a woman."
She ran her hands through the boys hair and looked him in eyes, "Especially a nasty one."
She winked at him before getting up and walking over to Lucas.
"I would say I'm shocked but in reality when I think about it, I'm not" Lucas told Maya letting out a light chuckle.
Maya laughed along with him before going up to place their order. Not long after they were brought their food and one they finished they were on their way to the march.
After about 5 minutes they arrived and found a place to park. Lucas looked over at Maya as they got out of the car holding their signs.
"Ready?" Lucas asked Maya.
"Yep."
The couple held up their signs going into the crowd joining the others in their chants.
"My body, my choice!"
"Her body, her choice!"
