= Rey's POV =

I got dressed and stepped outside of my comfortable cabin, not sure of what to do for the day. As I wandered around, Poe walked past me and stopped me in my tracks.

"Where you off to?" he asked.

"Not so sure," I admitted. "Got any ideas?"

He thought thoroughly for a second before replying. "Well, I just got back from a walk around base, but before that I was practicing with the tasers. Maybe you wanna do that?"

"Sure, why not. It's not like I have anything exciting planned so far," I laughed. He patted me on the shoulder and continued on his way, whilst I started my way towards the exciting warehouse.

As I entered, sparring mats were out with people practicing using the tasers. I hopped into my gear and checked the leaderboard for the most experienced fighters.

I hadn't budged once on the leaderboard, still in third place in the top 20. I hopped in the line for the fights and waited for about three minutes until I was at the front.

"Hiring gear for solo or duels?" the man asked. He seemed to be quite bored, wrinkles creasing his forehead and bags underneath his eyes.

"Duels, please."

"Name?"

"Rey," I answered.

He checked his computer and handed me some gear. "You're up on mat three in five minutes."

I grabbed the taser and strode off towards mat three. There were people fighting each other and the sound of zaps could be heard echoing throughout the giant warehouse. Five minutes passed quickly and soon enough I was up.

I hopped up and walked over to the mat, and shook hands with my opponent. It was a man who I've never seen before. He had brown hair and a stern face, his hand shake being very stiff and intimidating. I walked back to the edge of the mat and prepared myself for the fight, he was in fourth place and had to remain that way.

"Start!" the referee yelled.

We edged towards each other slowly and circled around the mat. He ran forward and had a shot at me but I blocked and returned the zap. He flinched but went again, so I ducked as he swung his taser at me and I tased him in the back. All I had to do was tase him once more and I'd win the match.

So I had a shot, ran towards him but was met with a shock in the leg. I didn't care, so I swung back and hit his arm. I won and was still in third place! My opponent and I shook hands and walked in opposite directions.

I'd already had enough of practicing with the taser so I walked straight towards my locker, pulled my gear off and decided to break the rules - walk out of base and towards the forest. I needed to clear my head from a month of non-stop work. I snuck past everyone and headed for the forest.

= Kylo's POV =

The view of the stars was amazing. It always was from a dreadnaught. Wherever you looked there were constellations - millions of them. I recognised one as I tried to remember who showed me it. It was the shape of a lightsaber. My father showed it to me...

"Ben!" my father shouted, "Come here I'd like to show you something."

I ran out of the house out into the fields towards my father. He was looking up at the sparkly sky, and turned to see me.
