Chapter fifteen

Adams pov

After I performed, I walked off of the stage. I saw the disappointed and heartbroken faces when I announced that my music carrier was over, and I didn't feel like sticking around to see it again.

Once Black Veil Brides performed, I was free to go. It only felt right that I stayed for the rest if the concert.

Andy Beirsacks pov

I was shocked when Adam said that he was going to quit music. I know how much he loved music, and I don't know if throwing it away is such a good idea. After the show, Ill have to talk to him.

Ashley, CC, Jake, Jinx, and I walked up to the stage, smiling at the crowd. I loved this feeling. The rush of adrenaline as you walked on stage, doing what you love to do. I know if Adam goes through with his decision he would miss this terribly.

"Hey guys!" I said into the microphone. "Before we begin I will like to say something. I know it's hard, putting a friend, a daughter, a legend down to rest. It's not easy. And the pain you feel every day is not easy to go through. Yeah, we lost a friend today. Max is gone, she's not coming back. Not in a physical appearance. she can come back with music. You brought jimmy "the rev" Sullivan back to life with st. James and so far away. You didn't forget him. And now, we can't forget max. She may be gone forever, but her music could live on.

The first song we are going to sing is lost it all. A song about falling down, but knowing that you will be able to stand back up.

I ruled the world.

With these hands I shook the heavens to the ground.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I almost started crying singing this song. but I didn't. I had to stay strong for not only my fans and Adam, but for Max. She was a strong, courageous girl, and I am glad that she influenced people as much as she did.

As I finished the song, I realised something. Adam was much more than a father and an idol to Max.

Adam was Max's saviour. He saved Max in her time of need.
