One word, and yet, it has the power to destroy anything and everything in its path.
Love.
Also one word, but this word is a wonderful thing, filled with magical moments, and careless smiles as if nothing in the world mattered except the 2 who share those memories.
I admired love. Loved everything there is to the word love. Read all the cheesy novels, cried over the heartbreaking films, I even cut out every wedding story published in the newspaper.
There comes a time, and a point, where a person can become someone's entire world. Where, you'd be willing to give up anything for that person, just to be with them, to see them happy.
Have I ever been in love?
Unfortunately, I haven't.
Goodbye and love aren't the perfect mix, and for that exact reason, love hasn't been something that opened me with welcoming arms.
And so as I set my guitar down, and took a look up at the night sky, I can't help but wonder...when will I get my turn?
